About this property
Gallery Guest House
On The Bank Of The Yellowstone River With Amazing Views Directly Into The Mountains Of Yellowstone Park
Located overlooking the Yellowstone River with views of the mountains and wildlife of Yellowstone National Park this home is in an ideal location. You can watch out the huge windows to see amazing beauty or walk into the quaint town of Gardiner for all it has to offer.
The house was designed and built by artists with a rustic flare and eye for details. Huge windows looking directly out on the river and Yellowstone Park so you can enjoy the many moods of the sunrise and sunset while you share your family meals. Something is always going on - eagles and osprey fishing for trout, deer, elk, pronghorn or bison grazing the meadows, and even the occasional coyote, wolf, bear or bobcat can be seen directly from the house. There are many built-in antiques in the home and the owners artwork (paintings, sculpture, woodwork, and custom hand made chandeliers) give you the opportunity to live with the art. You can hear the river roll by on quiet summer nights or watch the stars over the mountains from the deck or yard. Enjoy the Adirondack chairs by the fire pit with a drink and snacks while planning the next days adventures in Montana and Wyoming.
All of the homes furnishings are “high end”…tiled showers, five burner french stove with grille, sub-zero refrigerator, soapstone countertops, new mattresses, leather furniture, built in European antiques, custom hand made light fixtures, and the large dining table is an old restored wagon that can seat a crowd under the hand made chandelier.
It’s a short walk into town to pick up groceries, enjoy a meal, go whitewater rafting, see some live music, or check out the little local bookstore. There are endless outdoor activities all around. Yellowstone National Parks north entrance is less than a mile away and Gardiner is surrounded by spectacular public land. Hike, raft, kayak, ski, fish, bike, photograph the birds and wildlife, take a yoga class, horseback riding, soak in the hot springs, go dancing with the locals, have a great meal, staying at the Gallery Lodge will create memories of a lifetime. If you need any help planning local activities or where to go for a hike please ask-we know our way around. We can also recommend guides for wildlife viewing, fishing, horseback riding, photography help,
We look forward to seeing you soon.
