Kona Vacay at Keauhou Akahi - on the 9th tee overlooking historic Keauhou Bay.

Floor-to-ceiling windows in every room are open to the gentle ocean and mountain breezes in this bright, airy and beautifully appointed 2nd floor unit on the 9th tee of the Kona Country Club golf course overlooking tranquil Keauhou Bay in the heart of the Keauhou Historical District. Countless cultural and historical sites including the birthplace of King Kamehameha III, the Lekeleke battlefield and burial cairns at Kuamo'o (aka The End of The World) are all within walking distance.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat-screen TV and big windows that look out on the golf course and ocean, and the adjoining master bath has a walk-in shower. Equipped with a queen-size Murphy bed with wardrobes on either side, an Alcove becomes a private bedroom by closing the louvered pocket doors from the living room.

A full-featured kitchen, over-sized clothes washer and dryer, and a guest bathroom with a walk-in shower bring all the comforts of home to Paradise.

The focal point of this second floor unit is undoubtedly the secluded lanai. Expansive, unobstructed views of the golf course, palm trees and the ocean beyond make the lanai the perfect spot to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, relax on the comfy chaise lounge, or take in a glorious sunset while cooking fresh fish on the convenient grill. Leisurely breakfasts and glorious evening sunsets bookend every tropical day in Paradise.

We provide everything you need for a great day at the beach, a picnic, or exploring the Big Island - including snorkel equipment, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and ice chests. Or enjoy time at the salt-water swimming pool - just a short walk away and complete with lounge chairs, tables and chairs, and umbrellas.

Perfect place to stay in Keauhou

This is by far one of the best properties to stay while in Keauhou. It had everything we needed for making meals, relaxing, and watching the sunsets from the lanai. Very close to Keauhou Bay for water activities and grocery store was nearby.

Amazing sunsets and excellent location!

Check-in was easy and enjoyed the amazing sunsets from the balcony. We liked all the furnishings and especially having a modern rice cooker! It was an easy walk to Keauhou Bay for morning paddles and short distance to the KTA grocery store. We will be back again next year!

My three friends and I had a wonderful stay! This place has all the things you need for a relaxing beach vacation. Great Keauhou Stay

Our family had a great stay in this condo. Eric and Damon were very welcoming and on top of communication. We travel to Kona often and this trip we actually had to split time between two condos due to scheduling. This is the one I would rebook again. Very clean space, comfortable beds, and we loved the open concept to the lanai.
