My friends and I travel twice a year. This house was absolutely perfect for our trip. It had everything we needed, it was very clean, the location was great, and Melissa was very quick to answer any questions we had. If we ever travel back to this area again, we are definitely booking Old Yeller again! 10/10!
We had such a nice time at Old Yeller. The cabin was perfect for the five of us, three adults and two teens.Super clean, comfortable and welcoming. We loved being able to have our morning coffee and meals on the front deck.Melissa was great host, very welcoming and responsive. We would definitely stay at Old Yeller again and highly recommend it.
We had a wonderful stay in Island Park! The house was perfect for two couples! Beds were super comfortable and the living room area was very cozy. We liked the 20 minute drive into W Yellowstone!

Thank you so much for staying with us — you were wonderful guests! We’d be thrilled to have you back anytime you’re visiting Yellowstone again.
What can I say but Wow! This VRBO was beyond beautiful, clean and we could drive into Yellowstone and explore. We road OHV to the top of Sawtelle mountain and saw the wild mountain goats, this adventure was wonderful. I highly recommend booking “Old Yeller” and using Island Park Adventures for your ATV/OHV. We arrived a little early and Melissa responded quickly that we could enter, she made everything incredible.
Prefect for our family of 8! Close to Yellowstone which is what we needed! House had everything we needed and communication with the host was easy. Thanks for the memories!

Thank you for staying at Old Yeller and for taking the time to share your experience. We’re so glad your family created special memories during your visit. It means a lot to us, and we’d love to host you again.
This property has all the amenities you need to be relaxed and comfortable. Wonderful, private location, convenient to W. Yellowstone and the community of Island Park. Great local restaurants, Yellowstone Playhouse is a fun family night out and the property is great for staying home and grilling dinner on the large porch with plenty of seating. Owner is very responsive and great to work with.
This is an outstanding home! My family commented several times on how well-stocked it was. I think it's their new reference standard for rentals. The home is clean, and comfortable, and we loved the location. It's less than 30 minutes from the west Yellowstone entrance, so it was perfect for our trip. The wooded property is beautiful, and we loved the huge deck with the hammock. My adult kids and husband also enjoyed the Ms. Pac-Man game. Melissa is a very gracious and accommodating host. We highly recommend this rental!
This is the most cozy, inviting cabin!! The interior is beautiful, it has personal touches that make it feel like home! It is so clean, the beds and linens are comfortable, it is well stocked with necessities and extras if you forgot something. It makes you want to snuggle up and just relax! Games, books,Puzzle, DVDs (tip: the tv upstairs has a built in dvd player), they thought of everything! It is close to so many places. Eating, grocery, gas, rentals and more! We ate at Cafe Sabor and Ponds Lodge. Both were so good! The short drive into West Yellowstone is worth it! Visit the shops, get some treats and when we say go to The Buffalo Bar, we mean it! The food is outstanding! We will be back to visit Old Yeller, sooner rather than later! Thank you for the incredible stay!

We’re so glad you chose Old Yeller! Thank you for your kind words—your happiness and appreciation truly mean the world to us. We’re committed to making every stay feel special, and it’s rewarding knowing your experience was.
This cabin was so cozy and the hosts thought of everything! There were all the extras in the kitchen and bathrooms that most hosts don't think of (mini toothpaste!? Spices and olive oil!!!). I am picky about updates and cleanliness and have nothing to criticize. Even saw a yoga mat in one closet. Everything inside felt updated and didn't feel used! I wouldn't say amazing mountain views but when it was snowing/sleeting outside, the woodsy feel from the living room was wonderful. I traveled with my 15, 18 and 24 year olds and there was plenty of space for sleeping and hanging out and one slept on the couch willingly (unnecessarily) because it was so cushy and comfy. Our host was very responsive when one of us left the kitchen sink slightly dripping which made the reverse osmosis system in the kitchen beep. (Sorry!!) The little market up the road has all you'll need for groceries unless you need specialty gluten free food, which we did and picked up near the airport in Belgrade/Bozeman. Highly recommend!!!
