The Botanist Studio at the Juno Lofts is an absolute delight. The loft is bright and clean with two lovely windows to let in lots of sunshine and gorgeous high ceilings. Modern comfortable furnishings and a very comfortable mattress. Centrally located you can park and forget your car for the duration of your visit. Brendan and staff are super responsive and helpful.
Very central location, nice modern decor, great sheets. Good detailed instructions for check-in the day before. Clean but not spotless. Towels could use an upgrade and there are no slippers or robes. Bring your own. Be aware: NO overnight parking on site; on site is Pay for Parking with 4 hour limit. Free overnight parking is about 5 blocks away from the unit.
We were not impressed with parking availability. We were informed before our stay that a parking spot was available. However, free parking was available a few blocks away from the host location. It would have been appreciated to know that beforehand. The studio itself was clean and comfortable. Housekeeping staff should have notified the host that the hair dryer was missing. Wi-Fi access was good. Location was noisy at night due to bars nearby therefore sleep was interrupted. Noticed there were no other reviews on this property. I'm sure we were not the first ones to stay here. Our host was very nice and responded quickly to our inquiries.

Spacious enough studio room, with nice kitchenette. Bathroom small, but fine. Close to all amenities and theatres, though be advised it can be loud. However, there were some Issues: Bed is advertised (still) as a "luxurious King" and it is in fact a Queen. Bedding of a low quality, as are cheap gym-towels The advertised 'balcony' is nowhere to be found ("Start your day with a cup of coffee on the balcony, surrounded by lush greenery.) No greenery either other than a dying fern. Blinds were broken (they were reported broken by last guests as well and a month plus later, still broken) resulting in a very bright first night, with privacy concerns. Manager Brendan addressed this issue promptly, confirming the blinds were bust, and advising us not to attempt to raise them, nor attempt to open one of the two windows which was also bust. Much apologising, but not much other than that.

Location was fantastic as it was walking distance to many restaurants as well as the Festival Theatre. However, there were flaws in the accommodation. One of the window blinds was broken. They could not be closed. As a result there was less privacy and it made for a very bright morning affecting the quality of our sleep. Secondly, a hair dryer was listed as an amenity but it was not available in the unit. We were later told it was stolen by a previous guest. If that’s the case, remove it as an amenity so that guests know to bring their own. None of the issues were adequately dealt with. Our host communicated quickly but failed to rectify our issues. Some kind of compensation besides an apology would have been appreciated.
