About the host
Your host

We're from all over, moved around a lot chasing our Jobs. This is our first time being a host and if you have specific plans you need to know about this property please let us know . The property is located on almost 4 acres, although we have neighbors it has an isolated feel. At least to us, lol . The dock is typically about 4 to 6 feet deep. Lake Keowee fluctuates a little, but due to the powerplant, the fluctuations are minimal compared to other lakes like Hartwell. Duke energy owns the land around the lake, the shoreline must remain natural and to be left untouched . When you visit you'll see about a 4 to 6 foot section around the lake that is not our property but we do have a permit for the dock that allows access to the lake. this is true for all of Keowee
Fishing can be quite good in the cove, I can always catch catfish occasionally a spotted bass and bluegill galore.

Why they chose this property
Small neighborhood of seven homes, very nice neighbors. Being a good neighbors is very important to our family and we hope anyone who stays is respectful of the neighborhood. Stay off your property and don't be loud after hours. The most important etiquette you should remember while on the lake,, when you're motoring into the cove ...,idle speed ...don't knock everybody's boats around with your wake. Do that you're one of the neighborhood!🕺🚤
What makes this property unique
This house was designed with guest in mind. Three en suite and a fourth bedroom with the bathroom across the hall makes it ideal for families who want to be together, but also need Space. Being at the end of the cove create a sense of being isolated, even though you have neighbors. There is plenty of parking for RVs and boat trailers as well as a barn, but that's off limits to guests.
