Welcome to Northern Anchor, your perfect home away from home—thoughtfully designed for families, groups, and relaxing getaways. Sleeps up to 12 (utilizing the sofa bed for two and the trundle bed for one).

Family-Friendly & Stress-Free -
Traveling with kids? Pack light—we’ve got you covered. The home is fully equipped with a pack ’n play, high chairs, stroller, Bumbo, Boppy, toys, books, beach gear, toddler utensils, and more. Everything you need for a comfortable, easy stay with little ones.

Spacious, Comfortable Living -
Designed for groups up to 12 guests, the home features a large dining area with seating for 10 (6 at the table + 4 at the island + 2 high chairs available). Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, and a fully stocked kitchen perfect for cooking, entertaining, or longer stays.

The newly finished basement is a guest favorite:
Beach-themed kids’ play area with surf shack playhouse
Unique Jeep play space for kids (book nook + drive-in movie spot)

Pools & Hot Tub -
Enjoy access to the brand-new enclosed subdivision pool and hot tub—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach or exploring the area. Management opens and closes the enclosure based on seasons/weather. Also, an outdoor seasonal pool is available at the marina open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. (Refunds will not be issued for unexpected closures for pool maintenance/cleanings.)

Our guests have access to our entire home. There are two locked storage cabinets in the basement storage room where we keep personal items. Guests also have access to the two community pools, hot tub, and marina clubhouse.

There is a Ring Doorbell Camera on the exterior front door for security purposes only.

We'll email you a packet of info that lets you plan your trip. South Haven and the surrounding towns have so much to offer. There are beautiful, sandy beaches, a wonderful downtown filled with fun shops and restaurants, blueberry orchards, and more!

everything was perfect and it was evident the host truly cares about the guest experience. Every detail was thought of and I would highly recommend staying here, especially if you have kids. The pool is huge and the hot tub was very clean and warm.

The house was perfection for two families to visit; the basement was a kiddo dream! The heated pool was fantastic (the fun lights at night time were an added bonus) and the hot tub was clean and stayed hot!The kitchen had all the tools for cooking "at home" and the beds were comfortable and clean.Cannot recommend Northern Anchor enough!

We had the most amazing stay! My college roommate and I had a fun mom-getaway for the weekend at the Northern Anchor! The home was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located! The decor is absolutely perfect… bringing the beach town vibe inside! We enjoyed a cozy bonfire on the back patio after a perfect day of beach combing and shop-hopping around South Haven! While we couldn’t wait to get out and about to explore the lovely town of SoHa, we didn’t want to leave the comfort of the home… the coffee bar was the perfect way to start our day with cozy chats and coffee! The amenities th neighborhood has to offer were off the charts! You can even swim in the winter thanks to the indoor pool! I cannot wait to come back this summer with my husband and kiddos to enjoy the summer vibes of the home, pools, town, and beach! We are even considering coming back this winter as a little getaway to swim and walk the cozy shops at Christmas time! The property manager was super friendly and easy and to contact with questions about the area! Totally recommend this place and cannot wait to come back!

We are from Southwest Michigan. We live about an hour from the lakeshore but love lake life! We enjoy traveling, beach days, boating, and even the winter fun that Michigan offers!

Why they chose this property

We chose this neighborhood because of the community swimming pools, especially the year round, heated, enclosed pool near the house. We also love the convenience of being able to rent a boat or a golf cart right down at the connected marina. We look forward to using the house for winter getaways with ice skating in town and skiing and tubing nearby. We also look forward to Lake Michigan beach days in the summer time:)

What makes this property unique

Our property is set up well for families! The beach themed basement is an entertainment area that gives families more room to spread out while also making great memories! The kitchen is well stocked and there are games for kids and adults. There is a nice back patio with a wooded view, picnic table, and a propane fire table. It is a short walk to the enclosed pool and about a 15 minute walk to Lake Michigan.
