House was not cleaned (beds unmade, used towels in all 3 bathrooms, dirty floor, etc) when when we arrived. The housekeeper came pretty fast once I notified them but it was very frustrating given the price we paid. The pool area was dirty as well. The following day I received a phone call within 2 minutes of opening the garage door requesting that we keep it closed due to flooding issues during heavy rain. We only opened it to allow my daughter in law to park inside the garage once she returned from the store. It felt like we were being watched or under surveillance. This could have been a coincidence but it made me uncomfortable. I also did not like the fact that we received a text on the second day of our stay requesting that we leave on time on our departure day to give housekeeping enough time to clean since new guests were scheduled to arrive the same day. If only we had been given the same courtesy. Not sure I will stay at another property managed by this company.

While we’re glad our housekeeping team responded quickly once notified, we understand how frustrating this must have been, especially given the expectations for your stay. We also appreciate you bringing the pool area concerns to our attention. We apologize as well for the discomfort caused by the garage call and the departure reminder message. Neither was intended to make you feel uncomfortable, the call was made solely because of known flooding concerns during heavy rain and was not intended to make you feel monitored in any way. We apologize for the impression it left.
