Book all three of our beautiful cabins at The Gateway Lodge—Pine Tree One, The Hunter’s Den, and The Honeymoon Cabin—together and enjoy the best of Wisconsin’s scenic Turtle Flambeau Flowage in one unforgettable experience.

With a combined total of six bedrooms, four bathrooms, and sleeping space for up to 18 guests, this bundled rental offers the ideal balance of shared time together and private relaxation. Each cabin provides its own charm and amenities while keeping your group comfortably close.

Pine Tree One is the largest of the three, featuring four bedrooms and two bathrooms. It includes two full kitchens, five queen beds, two extra-long twin beds, a futon, a spacious dining area, and cozy gas log stoves. The Hunter’s Den is a charming one-bedroom cabin with a queen and single bed, a full kitchen, Wi-Fi, and a peaceful lakeside setting—perfect for grandparents or a small family unit. The Honeymoon Cabin offers a quiet, romantic space with a queen log bed, gas stove, full kitchen, and private patio, making it an ideal retreat for a couple seeking some downtime.

All three cabins are equipped with full kitchens, Wi-Fi, and modern amenities surrounded by rustic, Northwoods charm. Step outside to enjoy private docks, outdoor grills, and gathering areas where your group can fish, relax, and share meals in the fresh air.

Mercer is a four-season destination with something for everyone. In the warmer months, enjoy fishing, kayaking, or boating on the Turtle Flambeau Flowage, just steps from your cabin. Hike scenic trails at nearby MECCA Trails or explore waterfalls and wildlife throughout the region. Fall brings brilliant foliage and peaceful hikes, while winter transforms the area into a snowy playground—perfect for snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, and ice fishing. The cabin sits right on direct snowmobile and ATV trail access, making it an ideal base for cold-weather fun.

When you're ready to relax, head next door to The Gateway Lodge restaurant and bar, open year-round for hearty meals and friendly conversation (Call bar for updated hours Nov-Dec and March-May as hours are subject to change). You’ll also find boat rentals to ensure a fun, comfortable, memorable stay.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 7 vehicles.

Dock details: several docks down by the water which can be used located in front of the honeymoon and the hunters den



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
