Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
The front door key is located in a lockbox to the right at the top of the MAIN STAIRWAY that faces the street, under the end of the rail. In front of Hi sign.
Check-Out:
After your Check-out return the door key to the same lockbox after locking the door behind you when you leave. It's a single door key, so make sure it's placed back safely in the lockbox.
Water House is currently shut off. To turn it back on, simply open the MAIN valve located next to the house — it’s an easy step. Turn the water off/on using the red PVC ball valve”

We enjoyed staying at this Eagle Lake home, situated conveniently south of Winter Haven. The home was clean and comfortable, and we particularly enjoyed the cozy TV room. We slept well on the plush king size bed in the primary bedroom, and the two bathrooms contain showers and plenty of room for a couple or family looking for a week in the Florida sun. The only downside of the location is that the home is located close to a high school and traffic can get a little noisy in the morning. Our host was very responsive. We had a very pleasant stay at this property.

Host was very quick to respond. Home was clean and very comfortable. We arrived late at night but it was easy entering. We stayed in late December and the pool although not heated, looked so clean and inviting that we took a couple plunges. This is a recent flip so everything in the home is new. As a new rental, the kitchen doesn't have a huge selection of spices yet, but it is well enough equipped to cook most things. The neighborhood was pretty quiet and there's a couple of restaurants at the end of the street and its just 10 minutes to downtown Winterhaven. We will definitely return for our next visit.

Honest review. This home home has so much potential. The home is in an older run down neighborhood. They do not have a driveway so you have to park in the grass. The pool is right across from a very busy boat launch. The yard is all weeds that was not cut back in a while, so the pool was impossible to keep clean. Debris was constantly blowing in from yard. The house was very clean and newly renovated. It is however without a washer and dryer. This was miserable for us as we were in town for a 5 game baseball tournament. Nowhere in the listing did it say that the house did not have a washer and dryer. I was just supposed to assume because it wasn't listed as an amenity. I have never rented a house without a washer and dryer so I never thought this would be the case. I did not have time to go sit at a laundry mat, so I had to wash my son's uniforms in the sink. There was no kitchen rags, paper towels or cleaning supplies so it was hard to clean up after ourselves in the kitchen. The master bathrooms window had ill fitting blinds. There was about 4 inch gaps and broken blinds that directly faced the shower. Did not feel comfortable showering in there! They need to put up curtains asap.The house had very comfortable beds and the tv room was very cozy. The host would quickly reply when messaged, but did not do anything to fix concerns. I was just told they would address issue for next guest. If issues were addressed, I would stay again.

A few points should be clarified for future readers: The property description and amenities list accurately reflect what is offered at the home. Amenities not listed, such as a washer and dryer, are simply not part of the rental. Many vacation homes, especially smaller lake properties, do not include every possible amenity, and we encourage guests to review the listing carefully before booking. Regarding the pool and outdoor area, this is a lakefront property located near a public boat launch, which is actually something many guests enjoy because of the active waterfront atmosphere and easy water access. Outdoor conditions in Florida can also change quickly due to wind, landscaping cycles, pollen, leaves, and seasonal nature elements. The blinds issue was already acknowledged during the stay and is being updated, as mentioned at the time. We always appreciate constructive observations and continuously improve the property. We do find it unfair to describe the neighborhood as “run down,” as many families, boaters, tournament visitors, and returning guests enjoy the area specifically for its lake access, peaceful atmosphere, and affordability compared to luxury resort destinations. We appreciate your stay and wish you and your son the best in future tournaments.
