Welcome to Nest in West, a thoughtfully restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath mid-century modern gem tucked into the trees of historic West Salem. Blending original 1960s charm with modern comforts, this peaceful perch invites you to relax, recharge, and reconnect with nature—while staying just minutes from the vibrant arts, dining, and innovation scene of downtown Winston-Salem.

Inside, you’ll find an open-concept living space with warm wood accents and large picture windows that bring the outside in. The kitchen is fully equipped for everything from morning coffee on the patio to a cozy dinner at home. Each bedroom offers a comfortable bed with plenty of pillows and linens and both bathrooms have been beautifully updated for spa-like ease.

Our home is completely scent-free — something many of our guests with allergies or sensitivities really appreciate. We wash everything in dye-free, fragrance-free detergent, skip air fresheners and scented plugins entirely, and keep our cleaning products fragrance-free too. For extra peace of mind, every pillow and mattress is fitted with an allergen protector under the regular bedding.

Step outside and you’re surrounded by nature—deer, owls, and even wild turkeys are known to stop by. Enjoy your morning coffee under the pines or a sunset drink on the back patio. Whether you’re here for a weekend getaway, a work trip, or a longer stay, Nest in West is a place to slow down and settle in.
