Wonderful place for my wife and me to stay and visit our granddaughter. Nice location and a very clean house. We will definitely stay again.

**4 out of 5 stars — Nicely updated home and a welcoming host**Greg was very personable and easy to communicate with throughout the booking and check-in process. The home is older and compact, but the interior has been renovated very nicely. We especially appreciated the thoughtful bathroom upgrades, including a heated toilet seat and new fixtures. The kitchen is small but well equipped with everything we needed.A few things are worth keeping in mind when planning a stay. During our weekend visit, cars revving along the street made restful sleep a little challenging; a weekday stay may be quieter. Parking is on a fairly busy street, so some care is needed when unloading. The home also sits above street level on a small bluff, which made carrying luggage and groceries up from the car a bit cumbersome and may be difficult for guests with mobility limitations.We noticed several spiders indoors, so we would suggest a pest-control treatment before future stays. These were manageable concerns, but helpful details for prospective guests.The home is about 15 minutes from Wake Forest’s campus, making it convenient for a university visit. Overall, we appreciated the nicely updated interior and Greg’s warm, responsive hospitality.
