About this property

The Inn at Beulah Beach on Crystal Lake

Summary:

Step into history and heart at The Inn at Beulah Beach, where vintage charm meets modern comfort on the sparkling shores of Crystal Lake. Once a beloved historic inn, this 1907 beauty has been lovingly refreshed to welcome up to 20 guests into a world of warmth, laughter, and lake breezes.

The Space:

Guests renting this property have complete and private access to the entire 4,200 square foot beach house. Step onto the spacious front porch where you can enjoy a beverage while watching the sunset, then enter through the home’s original 1907 grand foyer. The first floor is designed for gathering in the comfortable common areas and includes a fully equipped chef’s kitchen and a full-capacity laundry room.

The second floor has five bedrooms, one with a king bed and the others with queen beds. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom. The third floor features a large loft with two standalone twin beds and two bunk beds with twin beds on top and full beds on the bottom, along with a bathroom and a television. There are six beds total in the bunk room, making it ideal for families with children.

A gas grill is available for guest use just outside the kitchen. The home provides all the conveniences of modern living while maintaining its historic charm. It accommodates up to 18 guests and is only steps from the sandy beach directly across the road. In the side yard, Cold Creek winds its way toward Crystal Lake.

The beach house is both functional and beautiful, with décor that can best be described as casual elegance. The warmth of the custom woodwork on the first floor creates inviting spaces that encourage relaxation and connection. Guests can enjoy a full-size pool table, a collection of games, cozy reading chairs, and a fieldstone fireplace that may just compete with time spent at the beach or browsing the shops along Main Street.

The Neighborhood:

Crystal Lake appears on nearly every “Most Beautiful Lakes in Michigan” list you’ll find. It is only a 30 minute drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, a national park that was recently featured on the cover of National Geographic for its stunning natural beauty.

Other Things to Note:

All guests must be 25 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. This will be verified after booking confirmation.

A $174 damage waiver fee is required for each stay and provides accidental damage coverage up to $1,500. If damages exceed that amount or are determined to be intentional, NoMi STAY reserves the right to recover additional costs.

Dogs are welcome with an additional fee, limited to two per stay. Guests must keep dogs leashed at all times when outdoors. Pets should never be left alone in the home unless safely kenneled. Please clean up after your pet and be mindful of barking to ensure a peaceful stay for all.

A nonrefundable credit card processing fee applies to all reservations. For stays of 14 nights or longer, a mid-stay cleaning is required. Guests may also request a mid-stay clean for shorter visits.

The six bedrooms/6.5 baths accommodated our party of 11 - you just have to be OK with climbing stairs! Great kitchen and plenty of living space. Our favorite place to relax and watch the sunset is the front porch.

This place is as lovely as every picture looks! It was clean, had big-old home charm and an amazing view even in the winter. The kitchen was absolutely fabulous for our family of eight with a large island to set up food and a great oven. Huge fireplace that works, pool table in an entertainment room that everyone loved and used. Bedrooms and their adjoining bathrooms were all clean set up perfectly. Honestly I could not ask for a better place to cozy up in for our ski holiday!
