Lone-standing vacation home with a large garden in a peaceful location

Our Friesenhaus is located on the northernmost outskirts of Osteel, on a quiet side street. Nearby are fields and meadows, where you have direct access to the extensive network of bike paths leading to Greetsiel and Norden/Norddeich. A large, fenced-in garden with a terrace invites you to relax and soak up the sun. The house offers plenty of space for 6–7 people and is comfortably and lovingly furnished. You can take wonderful trips to the green surroundings of East Frisia. The port of Norddeich, from which you can reach the islands, as well as the swimming beach and the adventure wave pool, are just 8 km from the house. Shops are just a short walk away!<br><br><br>Excursions: A visit to the romantic fishing village of Krummhörn-Greetsiel is an absolute must. On the way, you’ll also pass our landmark, the red-and-yellow-striped lighthouse in Pilsum. It’s been possible to get married here for some time now, since the Pewsum City Council has set up a registry office here. The lighthouse became famous thanks to the “Otto” films. The port city of Emden is also worth a visit. Emden not only has a beautiful harbour but also lovely shopping streets, the Ottohaus, and the Nannen Museum.<br>Further north, with its new wave pool and seal breeding station, Aurich is also worth a visit for its castle, market, and beautiful city centre. Or visit our East Frisian islands of Juist, Borkum, Norderney, and Baltrum. Mudflat walks are also available on some of the islands. You’ll find much more information in the guest folder on the display.<br><br><br>Shopping: You’ll find all kinds of shops and supermarkets from all the major retail chains in the neighbouring towns of Norden and Marienhafe. There are also several banks, restaurants, and ice cream shops. A list of doctors and pharmacies in the municipality of Osteel is available on-site.
