Beds include a king, queen, 2 twin XLs, and double bunks. It's perfect for two small families, extended families, or groups of friends. With 2 full bathrooms, guests will have all the comforts they need.

Your quiet get-away includes a private unheated pool, pool house, lanai, outdoor eating area, front porch gathering place, deck loungers, and the comfort of AC. The pool house has AC, TV, Bluetooth speakers, comfortable seating, a game table, arcade and an air hockey table.

Browse the guest kiosk at the breakfast bar to see local beaches, TV channels, and even current radar. Turn on the main room's full-room Bluetooth speakers and a faux fireplace to create an awesome escape. Head out to the pool house and stream audio to the speaker system to create an awesome game room memory!

Located five blocks from the beach for a 15 minute stroll to the surf to spend your day, while you spend the rest of your time poolside. Or take a two-minute walk to see the ICW and a walk along water-lined Yacht Drive. This cozy cottage paradise is in the middle of all that is truly the tranquility of Oak Island.

* All bed linens, bath towels, and pool towels are included. All beds will be made upon your arrival.
* For safety, children must be 6 or older to sleep in the top bunks and there may be no horseplay on the bunk beds.
* For Monday night stays please roll out the trash bin and pull them in on Tuesday. Host will indicate the bi-weekly recycling pick up, but just follow-the-leader if neighbors have the blue can out.
* Trip insurance suggestions
-- Consider cancellation insurance to cover the time between your refund expiration and arrival date.
-- Since the refund policy does not cover weather events, we recommend travel insurance to cover the cost of disruptions during hurricane season: June to November, but especially August through mid-October.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Roll out the trash barrel on Mondays and the recycling every other Monday (host will notify).
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
For safety, children must be 6 or older to sleep in the top bunk and there can be no horseplay on the bunk beds.
Pool rules are posted in the pool area. These must be read and followed.

Tom was an amazing host. He really went above and beyond. We wanted to do a low country boil one night and there wasn’t a big enough pot. He had one delivered right away. The house was clean and well stocked. Everything was as described. Our family had a blast. Thank you for letting us stay with you!

"Our stay in Oak Island was fantastic! Even with 6 people in the house and some less-than-ideal weather, we never felt like we were tripping over one another. The space is incredibly spacious, clean, and functional, but it also has a wonderful personality that makes it feel like a home rather than just a rental.The kitchen was well-equipped for any kind of meal we wanted to prep, which was a huge plus. Most importantly, our host was top-tier—extremely caring and communicative from start to finish. It was exactly what we paid for and a very positive experience overall. We will definitely be staying here again!"
