Ascent A-Frame Modern Treehouse with Hot Tub and Views!
Modern Mountain A-Frame Tree House on 22 Private Acres – A Romantic Escape in the Blue Ridge
Tucked away on 22 acres of private forest on Howard's Knob, the mountain overlooking downtown Boone, this elevated A-frame tree house is a modern mountain retreat designed for romance, relaxation, and reconnection. Just minutes from all the action yet completely hidden in nature, this one-of-a-kind escape blends sleek, modern design with the warmth and charm of a woodland hideaway.
Climb the steps to the tree level to enter your new favorite hideaway. Inside, the soaring A-frame architecture surrounds you with natural light, wood accents, and panoramic forest views with the timeless Blue Ridge mountains visible beyond the trees. The main level features a plush queen bed for easy, restful nights, while the sleeping loft at the top of the spiral staircase offers a spacious king bed tucked beneath vaulted ceilings and skylights: the perfect place to wake with the sun or gaze at the stars.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals together, while high-speed fiber Wi-Fi lets you stay connected (if you choose to be). Kick back and enjoy your favorite shows on the TV mounted above the electric fireplace. But the true magic lies just outside your door: soak in the private hot tub surrounded by trees, drift off in the swings mounted under the deck by the hot tub, share drinks by the propane fire table on the deck, or cozy up around the wood-burning fire pit under a canopy of stars.
Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply slipping away for a few quiet days, this elevated A-frame offers the perfect balance of comfort, style, and seclusion that combine to create an unforgettable getaway in the heart of the High Country. Let us help you create the perfect vacation!
If you have a larger group and are looking for additional space nearby, please consider reserving our sister Alpine A-Frame located right next door! Alpine and Ascent are the only two homes on this street so if you choose to rent both, your group will enjoy great privacy. A rustic stepping stone trail connects the two properties. And at the top of the neighborhood you'll find a community firepit, picnic area, and tree swing for all visitors of Calm Ridge Treehouses to enjoy!
ADDITIONAL NOTES AND IMPORTANT INFO:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, several garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. We do not provide hair dryers. Towels and linens will be provided
- Check in is after 4pm and check out is by 10am.
- This home is pet friendly for one (1) dog 40 pounds or less OR two (2) dogs 20 pounds or less, for a pet fee of $25/nt per pet plus tax. Thank you for not requesting an exception to the size of dogs!
- Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions and any Neighborhood Rules sent by Host (property manager) or entry information cannot be sent.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home.
- Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. All trash must be bagged and placed in the trash receptacle indicated in the Welcome Book inside the house or your digital guidebook.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- 4WD/AWD and/or chains are recommended during winter (Nov-March) for all homes.
- Travelers visiting during the winter months where inclement weather may be possible MUST come prepared with an AWD or 4WD vehicle, and chains may also be required if it snows. The Treehouse is located at over 4,200' elevation and receives significant snow during winter weather events. The road leading to the Treehouse is paved except for the last half mile, where it turns to gravel and has moderate inclines, so all guests must come prepared. No refunds, allowances, or date changes will be given to travelers who are not prepared with the proper vehicle, as outlined in the Rental Agreement.
- The exterior of this home is protected by a driveway-facing security camera. No cameras monitor the firepit, hot tub, other gathering areas, or interior of the home.
