We had a great extended stay (4 months). The location is great, walking distance to Heavenly Cal Lodge. The kids loved the huge backyard. The property manager was responsive and helped resolve issues during our stay. Would love to come back!

About the host
Hosted by Malina
I love creating beautiful, comfortable spaces where people can actually relax and enjoy time together. Tahoe is one of my favorite places for exactly that reason—mountain days, fresh air, cozy nights, and plenty to do in every season. As a host, I want guests to feel genuinely at home, with thoughtful details, a well-stocked space, and everything they need for an easy, memorable stay.
Why they chose this property
We chose this neighborhood because it gives you the best of both sides of South Lake Tahoe: a peaceful, residential mountain setting while still being incredibly close to everything. Heavenly’s California Lodge is within walking distance, so ski days can start without the hassle of parking, and the lake, Heavenly Village, restaurants, beaches, and casinos are all just a short drive away.
What I love most is how distinctly “Tahoe” it feels here. The neighborhood is surrounded by tall pines, with beautiful mountain views—including a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac from just outside the house—and occasional filtered glimpses of the lake. It feels quiet and tucked away when you’re at home, but you’re never far from the places you came to Tahoe to enjoy. For us, that combination of mountain atmosphere, convenience, and access to Heavenly is what makes the location so special.
What makes this property unique
What makes this home special is how effortlessly it works for a Tahoe getaway. You can walk to Heavenly’s California Lodge in about seven minutes, then come home to soak in the hot tub, cook together in the renovated chef’s kitchen, or relax by the fireplace.
The house is especially great for families and groups, with comfortable gathering spaces, a fun six-bed bunk room for kids, a large backyard, and plenty of room to spread out without feeling disconnected. The kitchen is one of my favorite parts of the home, with a large butcher-block island, marble counters and backsplash, a walk-in pantry, and everything you need to cook a real meal rather than just reheat takeout.
There’s also an EV charger, beautiful views of Mt. Tallac from just outside the house, and that rare combination of feeling tucked into the mountains while still being close to skiing, the lake, restaurants, and everything South Lake Tahoe has to offer. It’s a home designed for the kind of trips where everyone actually wants to spend time together.
