Traveling With Friends?

Traveling with another couple or family? Our sister cabin, Uptah, is just steps away.

Uptah and Rivah are identical in size, layout and amenities, but each has its own personality and décor. Both have their own private hot tub, fire pit, deck, bathroom and living space.

Book both cabins together for up to six guests and enjoy the best of both worlds: time together and your own space to recharge.

Guest Access

You'll have private access to the entire cabin, deck, hot tub, and outdoor living area. The bathroom utility closet remains locked.

Good to Know Before You Book

• Primary guest must be 25 years or older and staying onsite for the duration of the reservation.

• A rental agreement, photo ID, and a $200 security hold are required after booking. The security hold is authorized two days before arrival and automatically released seven days after departure if no damage is reported. Please note we are on the exception list as we are API Connected to a hotel-style software called OwnerRez to safely and securely take off-platform security deposits.

• Our cabin is on a private well, and water is a precious resource in the mountains. We kindly ask guests to help conserve water by turning off taps when not in use and keeping showers to a reasonable length. While the water is safe to drink, some guests prefer to bring bottled water or fill reusable bottles at a local natural spring just 5 minutes away.

• The kitchenette includes a compact mini-fridge (no freezer). If you're bringing extra groceries or frozen items, we recommend packing a cooler with ice for additional storage.

• A starter coffee and tea station is provided to help you ease into your Maine mornings.

• Outdoor amenities are available seasonally (May–October), including the picnic table, bistro table, gas grill, and yard games.

• Cell service is generally strong. Wi-Fi is the best available for our rural location and works well for streaming and browsing, though it may not be ideal for frequent video calls.

• The driveway is steep and gravel. All-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is recommended year-round, especially during winter weather. The driveway is professionally plowed and sanded after each snowfall.

• To help everyone enjoy a peaceful stay, we do not allow parties, smoking or vaping inside the cabin, or unregistered guests.

• Dogs are welcome! We allow up to 2 dogs (2 years or older is preferred). A $50 pet fee per dog applies. We simply ask that dogs are house-trained, supervised, and respectful of the property so future guests—and their pups—can enjoy it too.

Starter coffee and tea kit provided

Picnic table, deck bistro table, and yard games available May - October.

Beautiful cabin! Great spot just outside Bethel. Was the perfect size for 2! Had everything you could need for a weekend getaway! Really loved that we could bring our dogs. We will be looking to book again this winter.

Clean, cozy, and romantic, with maybe not the privacy we were hoping for. This is a really cute little spot, perfect for our mini-moon. Some things to note: the fire pit is pretty much directly next to the fire pit of another rental cabin, separated by some wooden slats, and does not make for a particularly secluded experience. In addition, there is a camera pointed straight at the deck in the front of the cabin. We understand why this would be helpful from the perspective of the property owner, however people who value privacy may not appreciate it.

Thank you so much for choosing our cabin for your mini-moon and for taking the time to share your experience. We're happy to hear you found the cabin clean, cozy, and romantic. We also appreciate your feedback regarding privacy. Our two cabins share the property, and while we've added trees and dividers, we understand that the fire pits are closer together than some guests may expect. Due to the layout of the property and the surrounding woods, we've tried to balance privacy with maintaining safe locations for the fire pits and outdoor spaces. For guests considering a stay, we do include photos in the listing that show the layout of the property so there are no surprises and everyone can determine whether it is the right fit for them. Regarding the exterior camera, it is positioned to monitor the driveway and entry area for security purposes and is fully disclosed in the listing. It does not monitor the deck seating area, outdoor dining table, hot tub, or any interior spaces. We understand that privacy is important, and want guests to feel comfortable knowing those spaces are for relaxing and are not under surveillance. Thank you again for celebrating such a special occasion with us. We wish you both many happy years ahead and are grateful to have been a small part of your mini-moon.

Everything was beautiful. A few suggestions for us older guests: all stairs a including hot tub steps need no slip grip strips they are super slippery. The house also needs a fan. I was constantly opening the doors. Only one door has s screen do would stand in other door in middle of night to cool off. Yes it is menopause but would have loved a fan. Everything was marked and spotless! Would love to stay again ! 5 Stars!!

Had a great stay at Rivah Camp! I was looking for someplace quiet to get away for a few days and that is exactly what I found. The host, Erin, was very helpful in ensuring a relaxing stay and was prompt in responding to any questions I had before and after booking, or providing recommendations. The rental itself was extremely well equipped with anything you might need, from toiletries to kitchen cookware and utensils. They had both a small coffee maker and water pot for tea, which I especially appreciated. Additionally, the whole place was kept extremely clean and you could tell thought was put into making it a comfortable place to stay. The grounds themselves are beautiful and relaxing. There was no one at the cabin next door so I had the area to myself and could read out on the deck and listen to nature, and the hot tub was great at night to see the stars (and a few meteors!) The only downside was there was a bit of construction going on down the road during the day but it was far enough away to not disturb too much. Overall this location is well located and the town of Bethel is a seven minute drive with some great cafes and restaurants, or plenty of nature spots in the area for hiking, walking, etc. I miss my time there already and will certainly be staying here again when I am back in Maine!

The place is amazing. Your neighbor is close but if you’re lucky like we were you didn’t even know they were there. Very close to the lakes and only a 5 minute drive to Bethel to stores if needed. Everything was clean and labeled which was nice. Lots of extras. My only complaint and it’s minor is I was hot at night. The AC unit didn’t cool it off as much as I was hoping. Bring a little fan if you like it chilled at night. Outside of that it was perfect. Hot tub was amazing and clean. Fire pit area was clean with fire starters to help get your fire going. Bring your own wood. The outside lights set a nice ambiance. Would definitely recommend this place to others and already have! Also the host responded to all my questions very quickly!

This absolutely adorable cabin was incredible! It was meticulously clean, very well appointed with so many thoughtful details throughout. The way the host has setup a QR code to the guidebook for the property with everything you could possibly want and need to know was so helpful! The communication from the host was too notch. This location is dog friendly! They even provided things for your fur baby like dog dishes, treats, bags. My mom and I just loved all the thoughtful details. This little cabin offered the first time Maine experience I wanted my mom to have. We would absolutely recommend and will hopefully have a reason to go back in the future!
