Wonderful and cozy cabin! It is extremely clean and very well appointed. We had everything we needed for our stay. It is more rural but Selfoss and Hella are relatively close for grocery stores and gas. It was a great space for us to stay while we explored the southern coast!

We loved our two nights at Klara’s cottage! It was a great base for us to explore some of Iceland’s South coast and had everything we needed to make breakfast and easy dinners.
It was clean, comfortable and Klara responded quickly to any queries we had.
We would absolutely stay here again, in fact we wish we’d had a bit longer this time round.
We had a great experience here for our short stay in Hella. It’s conveniently located to see all of the southern coast of Iceland in day trips. The farm is nice, peaceful and quiet. You can see the volcano Hekla from here which is amazing.
We stayed at the cottage for 3 days while exploring South Iceland. The farm is beautiful, the area is very quiet yet close to the 1. We enjoyed having a little kitchen and being able to make coffee and cook breakfast for ourselves.
The hosts are friendly and have beautiful animals.
We had a wonderful stay in the cottage. A beautiful, clean, well kept space as advertised. We stayed in summer so black out curtains would have been helpful, but masks worked well enough. Glad we found the cottage for our trip.

Klaras cottage is very clean, cozy, and comfortable. Shower was great and the farm was beautiful with cute kitty and doggy we got to pet. The horse and sheep were great too though we didnt have time to feed them, it was offered to us
Good strong wifi signal as well.
Klara and Harold were very accomodating and sweet and we couldnt ask for more from their hospitality! Highly recommend staying in the cottage.
My partner and I had a good experience staying here--the small but well-equipped and very cute/cozy cabin had everything we needed for our stay! We loved the wood walls, very warm and refreshing shower, and kitchen/dining area with the ability to make some food. There was a chest of drawers that was helpful for storing our stuff in, and a luggage rack as well. It was in a beautiful farm setting and very quiet, which was helpful for sleeping. We loved seeing the horses!
The check-in was just a little bit unclear, as information about exactly what to do wasn't sent before our arrival (and there was a wait to get into the property area with some closed gates and horse-herding!), but Klara was great about coming over and making sure we accessed the cabin. There was a couch in the pictures on Vrbo but not when we arrived, which was unexpected, so we'd recommend updating that picture. But those are small things--great experience and excellent value for the cost!
We loved staying at Klara’s Cottage. What a cozy and comfortable place. Klara has thought of everything and the cottage is very clean. We also fed the lambs and pet the dog and cat. Highly recommend—an easy home base for touring the south coast. Thank you, Klara!
