About this property

Let your vacation be "WHATEVER" you want it to be- laid back or activity filled!

Enjoy staying in our very clean and charming two bedroom, three bath townhome that sleeps eight comfortably in the less congested west end area Sunnyside in Panama City Beach. Situated in a small complex of six units directly across the street from three quarters of a mile of "dedicated" beach which is EPA protected from anyone building on this lovely stretch of white sugar sand beach. This is a family friendly area and our beach is private for Sunnyside residents and their guests and it will be yours to enjoy. If you are looking for a high rise condo, like crowds, fighting for a spot on the beach and waiting for an elevator our townhome is not for you!!

We have spacious roomy accommodations. The kitchen is fully equipped and the dining table seats four with two extra seats at the counter bar. Enjoy your morning beverage on the shaded front patio. The living room has a queen size sleeper sofa, flat screen TV, blu ray DVD and free WiFi. The downstairs bathroom is complete with a full shower. There are lovely maple wood floors and hardwood steps that lead to the bedrooms and deck upstairs. The master bedroom has a king bed and full bath with french doors that open to a patio sun deck with lounge chairs where you can enjoy the spectacular gulf view and incredible sunsets. The second bedroom has a queen bed, built in bunk beds and an adjoining full bath and laundry room.

Please bring your own sand chairs and beach umbrella to enjoy the white sugar sand beach steps away from the front door. There are two designated parking spaces directly behind the back door entrance only six steps away. Very convenient so you do not have to cart luggage and groceries from a great distance away. Towels and linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels. We supply a minimum amount of paper products to get you started.

We respectfully request NO SMOKING and NO PETS in our unit.

We are only minutes way from Pier Park with it’s fabulous shoppes and restaurants, Walmart Super Center, Target, Publix, Winn Dixie, Carousel, CVS, Frank Brown Complex, historic Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Watercolor down 30-A, the airport and many great restaurants and attractions. Through the years I have stayed at many high end resorts where I paid a high price for a longer walk to the beach and paid Resort and parking fees. We offer SIMPLE, CLEAN, NICE AND COMFORTABLE at a great price that leaves you with the financial resources to explore many fun and entertaining options while on your vacation staying in a fantastic vacation spot without breaking the bank.

Perfect getaway place!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was very nice and well maintained. We were right across from the private beach and yet a short distance from being in the middle of PCB. It was exactly what we were looking for and we could be happier with our stay and our trip.

Kids first trip to Florida

My kids and I had a blast visiting Florida. The house had everything we needed and had more than enough space for everyone. We couldn't have asked for a better location being so close to the beach. We would definitely stay here again.

Quiet and fantastic

This location is a little bit away from the hustle and bustle of the east side of Panama City Beach but still within easy access. The beach access is so close and you will enjoy the beautiful emerald waters and white sand on an uncrowded beach. The cottage afforded my family of 5 plenty of room with great views.

Great weekend!

We had a great weekend! There were 2 couples and 3 children and the townhouse fit us perfect!! The weather was nice and we had the beach to ourselves! It was very nice to be able to use the beach chairs and sand toys that were there. The house was clean and comfortable... Will definitely rent again!!!

Found our new beach place

This property was exactly as advertised, clean and well maintained. Any issue we had Terry was quick to respond. Arrival and departure was so easy and laid out. The private beach access across the street was a huge win in the busy season. The property was close to restaurants and easy access to all the sports fields on Hwy 98. Excellent experience and we will definitely be back!

Nice week at "Whatever"

My wife and 3 kids (14, 13, 12) enjoyed a nice, quite week at the condo. The condo, though not new, was still nicely decorated, clean and very spacious. The beach, is an easy walk across Front Beach road and is not in a crowded area. If you are looking for something close to the beach that is comfortable and affordable, this is a great option.

Charming townhouse

This was a great townhome for my family and I. There was 9 of us in the house and we had plenty of room to move around. Having 3 full bathrooms was great too. The location is great too with the house just across the street from the beach. It took us about 20 seconds to before we were standing on the beach. It is also on a very quiet stretch of the beach with no beachside properties for at least half a mile on either side. Felt like we had it to ourselves at times.

Fantastic townhouse, great location!

My family stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The townhouse itself is extremely clean, quiet, and well-equipped. The owner was very nice and helpful. The location is fantastic. I expected a bit of a crowd on the beach because it was Labor Day weekend, and I was near Panama City Beach, but no! The nearest condo is blocks away, so the only people on "our" beach came from the small neighborhood around the townhouse. There was very little traffic going through Sunnyside, too, so crossing the street (even with a 5-year-old and lots of beach gear) was no problem. We will stay here again!

World Series Softball

Our family enjoyed the Condo and the location on the west end of PCB. The Condo was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities that you will ever need. We where also glad we did not have to bring beach chairs and boogie boards down. It was only about a minute walk from the front door to the beach. The beach was so nice and quiet. No one within 100 feet of us at anytime on the beach. Even in July. While we spent the majority of our time at the softball fields, when we came back to the condo, it was nice to be able to walk across the street to get to the beach and relax. Terry was so nice and accommodating with the payment/rental process. We will be back this year again to go the the world series, and yes we will stay at the "Whatever" Town home. I recommend this location for anyone that is looking for quite area near the beach. No crowds ,no traffic, no worries.

Great location but needs some desperate TLC

First, the overall location is perfect! Directly across from the beach and certainly on the quieter side of PCB. We checked in right at the designated time and the home had not been cleaned. We reached out to the owner and within an hour or so the cleaning personnel arrived. We were instructed to leave the premises while the house was being cleaned which took about another hour. There was apparently a miscommunication, which we realize things happen but it's just disappointing after a long drive, especially with kiddos, not being able to get settled in right away. The home was very outdated and really needed a deep cleaning. Since it's in such a great location, basic updates to the home (i.e., appliances, furniture, fixtures, decor/artwork) would really make it stand out that much more...it really has great potential!

Perfect location!

This property was fantastic! We did hit a little snag when checking in due to the cleaning lady having to take a little longer to make the place perfect for us, but it was not a problem. She did a wonderful job and we appreciated her attention to detail with cleanliness. The location was absolutely perfect for early mornings on the balcony, and a literal minute walk to our beach spot. We appreciated the outdoor shower and water hose that allowed us to clean ourselves off before entering the home without tons of sand. Communication with Teri was on point when the dishwasher needed to be looked at. She responded quickly and it did not impede any part of our stay. The only thing that would be nice, would be having two oven racks, as there is only one. We cooked most nights and it would’ve been a tad bit easier if there had been two racks ti put everything in at once. But it was not a major issue, especially if you don’t plan on cooking a lot. 10/10 would recommend this little gem!

We bought our vacation home from the builder when it was a year old. Through the years we have had the opportunity to purchase many other units or condos. It has always come back to the fact that we love the location and the size of our beach home.

From our travels to the Pacific west coast, Hawaii, Atlantic east coast and the Caribbean I dare you to find any other beach to compare to or with the beauty of ours.

Our daughters were teenagers when we purchased our home and they loved it and now our grandchildren enjoy our beach house. It has been off the rental market for several years but since I recently retired, I can manage our property and have more flexibility to come to the beach myself. I am now offering our beach home for your enjoyment. As a business owner for the past forty-four years in customer service I will do my best to answer any and all of your questions to make your stay the best it can possibly be. We live only a short four and half hour drive away and I have loved the beach since I was child and vacationed in the Florida Panhandle with my parents.
It is so important to me that everyone enjoy their time off and vacation as I always have.

Why they chose this property

We love our beach home at “Sunnyside on the Gulf”. Our little area still maintains a feeling of nostalgia of years gone by at the beach but so close to every convenience. You would pay triple to stay at a unit in a condo on the beach of the same size.
Love, love, love that we are not elbow to elbow with others on our hidden gem of gated “private beach”. Bigger is not always better in our opinion and all of our repeat guests feel the same way.

What makes this property unique

Although our unit is not new we offer a great value for the money. A unit this size in one of the high rise condos would cost you 2 to 3 times more. "SUNNYSIDE ON THE GULF'" is a wonderful throwback to the beach you visited as you were growing up yet so close and convenient to everything you need to make your vacation great.
