6 adults, 3 generations of family. Some people felt 3 stars, other people 4…Let’s start with the positives. Beautiful area, easy drive to Pinecrest. Communication with the owners excellent & check-in process was smooth. Many parts of the home are as described in the listing & the pictures. However, the refrigerator was full of open food to the point that it was difficult for us to fit what we brought. And besides, nobody is going to eat somebody else’s open food- you have no idea if the item was properly stored or if it had been left out in the sun for 8 hours & then put back in the fridge. It needed to be thrown away, especially things like the milk. The worst part- there was a Starbucks cup that looked like it had been growing a science fair exhibit. It was absolutely disgusting. While the sheets mostly felt clean, there was a dead spider in the sheets of 1 bed and a live spider running across the pillow. A fingernail was on the carpet downstairs in the game room. And the spiderwebs- in the doorways, on the door of the sauna, & especially in the house, on the window frames. We had to get rid of them before we could even open the windows. It took 10 minutes to sweep and dust away the spiderwebs on the deck, just so we could sit. There is no outdoor picnic table as shown in the pictures, so we were unable to have dinner outside. Downstairs screen doors are broke. For the price, we expected a very clean cabin home. Instead, it felt like we got a rustic, worn out experience.
