About the host

Hosted by Tammy Basile

Host profile image

Hi, I’m Miss Tammy!
I’ve had the pleasure of welcoming travelers for over 20 years, and I still love it just as much now as I did on day one.
After running a little RV park in central Florida, serendipity brought me to Florida's beautiful Forgotten Coast — where I fell in love with its charm, natural beauty, and easy pace.

Why they chose this property

Panacea is a quintessential Florida fishing village. There's a community garden club, and a farmers market every month on the first Saturday.
There are several antique shops, a marina and boat launch, and a well stocked fishing supply store within walking or biking distance.
There's a welcome center with loads of area information, a natural spring that brought hordes of vacationers for its " healing properties", and several exceptional seafood restaurants and fresh fish markets.
The area is surrounded by state forests, and the 27 mile paved coastal bike trail is steps from your door.
Beaches and a championship 18 hole golf course-the area's only Designated Audubon Signature Sanctuary Course, are a short drive away.
No matter what your ideal vacation looks like, you're likely to find everything you need in this laid back, friendly community.
