Black Mountain vacation home for rent nightly or weekly with 2 queens, 2 rollaway beds, other sleeping accommodations can be made as well. Both bedrooms have AC window units. This home is located minutes away from the Beautiful Black Mountain Recreational Area which offers access to over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails for hours of winter adventure. Over 30 miles of Cross-country skiing trails are also available with a series of beginner, intermediate, and advanced trails at Black Mountain. The Black Mountain Recreational area also has a 65-acre scramble area and over 60 miles of trails for ATVs, Dirtbikes and Sport Utility vehicles. This home is in the perfect location for the outdoor recreationists who love snowmobiling, ATVs, Off Road Vehicles, Cross country skiing, Hiking, Bicycling, Hunting, Fishing and Boating access to Inland lakes, Twin Lakes, Long Lake, Black Lake, or even cruise the Cheboygan river or the Indian river which connects Mullett Lake, Burt Lake and Lake Huron, even golfing down the road or many other golf courses around. Here you are located minutes from The Chateau at Black Mountain for great food and Drinks overlooking Twin Lakes and The Bluffs Bar overlooking Black Lake for some of the best food and Drinks which the trail is marked and connected to. Also a few minutes away from the Dirty Duck Saloon and the Twin Lakes Grocery and gas station with recreational non ethanol fuel and Rippling Rapids golf club & Restaurant, last the Black Mountain Lodge were they also have great food. House comes fully furnished has Flat screen TV in living room, small flat screen in bedroom, local channels,
Blueray-DVD players and Bose radio. Kitchen has all working appliances and also Washer and Dryer. Bathroom has all the linens you need. The house has a big non heated sun room with a big fenced in back yard with fire pit with supplied wood, Horse shoe pits, Croquet set, out side BBQ grill with gas along with some other games as well. There is a really big sledding hill for the kids just down the road. You can check in anytime after 4pm and must check out by 11am. I'll need to know what time your going to arrive so I can meet you with the keys. Great Little house in a quiet neck of the woods.

The house was perfect for two couples to juat chill out, play some games and do some sightseeing. The owner was super nice and helpful. I've never tried Vrbo before but if others are half as nice as this one, I'd gladly do it again.

Our family LOVED staying at this property! It’s clean, well furnished and literally every single thing you could need is stocked! It’s beautiful! Trail ride weekend

I've stayed at Mike's place 3 or 4 times now and it somehow just keeps getting better. My sons and I stay at a few different places around the state to ride the trails and I notice that most properties tend to show wear and tear between visits, but Mike's place only gets nicer.

The cabin was immaculate. One of the No cutest short term rentals we’ve stayed in. Very homey, clean, well stocked and thoughtful. Great location for proximity to the ORV trails. It’s even nicer in person than the photos. Highly recommend!

We loved our stay here! The pictures really do not do it justice. Everything was so clean and comfortable and was perfect for 5 adults. We enjoyed cooking out on the grill and playing corn hole in the large backyard. They really have thought of everything that one could possibly need. We will absolutely stay again next time we are up visiting!!

Quaint, comfortable and peaceful.

Perfect weekend getaway. Very comfortable and open. Very secluded up north feel without being too far away from park, trails and even Mackinaw. I highly recommend this cute little house. Has all the amenities you need. Loved having coffee on the back porch watching the wildlife, including deer. We will be back.

Best VBRO experience yet! Owners were flexible about our check-in time, the cottage was extremely well stocked with towels, sheets and blankets, coffee, and kitchen staples. The outdoor area was inviting with a fire pit ( s'mores ingredients were in the cupboard!), hammock, horseshoe pit, filled tiki torches, BBQ grill. Truly a great weekend for a reasonable rate. Would definitely come back again.

Great home, sparkling clean, lots of space

We came here for a snowmobile trip. The owners were so nice and accommodating. The home is very clean and spacious, and had everything we needed. Even a pot of coffee for the morning and some creamer! The beds and furniture were nice and comfortable. Plenty of room and very cozy. Big driveway for the snowmobile trailer and quiet location, close to the trails. Owners take pride in their property and it shows. We definitely plan on coming back again.

Great, clean, had things there that I forgot or I didn't need to bring because it was already there. Wish the ac was working better. The wifi was good in the house but as soon as I got into my car to get directions it would not work, not sure if it was the area. Very peaceful.

Amazing vacation home!!

What a great place for a relaxing get away!! Mike was very helpful and accommodating. The home was extremely clean and stocked with every amenity you could think of (and then some!). You can tell Mike has put a lot of thought into making this the perfect vacation home. The large fenced yard is perfect for outdoor games, kids or dogs to play, or just drinking your morning coffee. Quick drive to Cheybogan and many hiking trails. We enjoyed visiting nearby Ocqueoc Falls and hiking the Lake Huron lakeshore in Cheboygan State Park. We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay! We would definitely recommend it to friends and hope to be back again!

Great Retreat In The Woods

We really enjoyed our week at Mike’s house close to the Black Mountain Recreational Area. The location was great for us. The home and property could not have been better. Really clean and well equipped, we had everything we needed for a good time with family and friends. Importantly for us, the property was accurately presented on the VRBO website. What you see is what you will get. We had the pleasure of meeting both Mike and his wife. They were cordial, business like and very helpful. We hope we will have the opportunity to stay there again in the future.

CHARMING COTTAGE AND GREAT LOCATION!

Mike and Alicia met us at the cottage and showed us where everything was at. This was absolutely one of the best houses we have rented!! They thought of everything and stocked it well. It was beautifully decorated and spacious. We really enjoyed the big backyard! Mike even had the wood all built up for our first campfire of the week! And he had plenty of firewood for us. This is about 15 minutes from Cheboygan, so make sure you eat at Pierr 33 on the Cheboygan River. There was an ATV trailhead just down the road. Thanks Mike and Alicia for a wonderful week! We will most certainly recommend this cottage to family and friends.

Excellent home, extremely clean, with many amenities

We rented this cabin for a three day weekend of ORV riding. We were able to ride from the property right to the trails, which is always a positive thing. We rode nearly 175 miles of ORV trails during our stay. The house was exceptionally clean. Nearly everything was new or appeared new. The inside of the home looked as if it had a very recent remodel. Just one bathroom, but it was large and meticulously clean. There are two bedrooms with permanent beds, but there were at least three roll away beds and a couple large sofas for extra sleeping spots, plus plenty of room for an air mattress. The owner made sure to include a grill with two bottles of propane, plenty of pre-cut firewood, lawn chairs, radio, horse shoes, and plenty more outdoor games and amenities. The owners even stocked the refrigerator with brand new condiments and the cabinets with brand new seasonings and spices. The entire, spacious, back yard was completely fenced off to keep pets in and large wildlife out. Only a mile or two down the road is a gas station, small convenient store, and restaurant/bar. I would highly recommend this rental to anybody looking for a place to stay while off roading, snowmobiling, or just looking for a weekend away from the city.

I really enjoyed my stay here! It’s spotless and decorated so nicely that I felt very comfortable and right at home. I wasn’t expecting how stocked it was; everything you could need is provided. There is even a filtered water pitcher in the fridge and a great fire pit. The location is easy to get to and on paved roads. There is privacy but you are not alone in the middle of the woods which I liked. This was a solo trip and I felt very safe. The property and area are beautiful. The host is easy to communicate with and I would like to stay here again.

Great house!

We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, everything was very clean & comfortable. Only took 15min to get in to town. We were there for my sons hockey tournament and this was a great place to come back to to relax.
