The treehouse was a unique new experience! It is a fun place to stay and provides (almost) all the amenities we needed! We would have loved a grill, but the rest of the accommodations were great. So many fun special touches that make your stay fun and memorable. This location is also a manageable driving distance from Acadia, many of the harbors, and the fun activities of Maine!
I was in a road trip to Acadia in my van, and stayed for a couple nights to have a nice place to stay to give me a break from sleeping in my van. It was well worth it! The place was really cute and clean. I’d highly recommend this treehouse.
We loved our stay at the treehouse! Excellent accommodations and quick communication with management, very secluded home in the woods. Wished we could've stayed longer!
My partner and I had the most enjoyable and relaxing weekend here. It was the perfect getaway, had everything you needed and the amenities were so well done. The place was spotless and very comfortable all around. We plan to come back again soon. Thank you to the hosts!
Near perfect location. Away enough from a bunch of people but close enough to restaurants and stores. Beautiful building too for a small group of people.
My partner and I had the most amazing weekend get away at the tree house.. Everything was fantastic down to the last detail. Will visit again and have already recommended to family and friends. Thank you so much!
We enjoyed staying at the treehouse, it was just as described and everything was very clean.Thank you for having us, we definitely recommend this rental.
This house was a cool little place, everything was as described, house was clean and the beds were comfortable, the owners communication was excellent. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. Thank You kindly for hosting us.
Quirky, cool treehouse that’s convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Nice amenities like a sauna and whirlpool tub. Beds were very comfortable, and the basic amenities were fully stocked. It was a fun stay!
Property is in the perfect location to visit both sides of the park. Only downfall is very narrow spiral stair case if you have to get luggage to the loft and they should hang the tv on the wall and get rid of large piece of furniture to be able to put a stand to put luggage on in the master bedroom. Other than that a perfect place!!
The wife and I found a great way to escape Florida's summer heat - Maine tree-house! The owners could NOT have been more kind or attentive. They made sure our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Perfect jumping off spot for Bar Harbor and Acadia. Loved our stay.

Incredibly luxury experience to stay. Don't wanna check out. Definitely come back next time.
Very cozy and private cabin. The bathroom has amenities that make it feel like a little spa. Outside deck space and fire pit is nice. Lots of different spaces and rooms. It's about 20-30 min to Acadia depending on the traffic. I would recommend this place to anyone, except for someone who has difficulty using stairs. We would go back.
We had a great stay at the Treehouse. The location is great and quiet. The house has all of the comforts, including beautiful furnishings, a cozy fireplace, clean and easy to use sauna, and a fully equipped kitchen. Angie and Haze communicated clearly and the description and instructions were accurate. This is a perfect place to unwind.
This tree house property is phenomenal. Privacy is important to us, and we had it here. The house is exceptionally well-kept, up to date, and comfortable. We fit comfortable with our very tall family and had a great time. We will absolutely be back. If you like to ride atvs on the Downeast Trail, this is your place. The nearby town has quaint shops and great restaurants. We loved it!
This was a beautiful and quiet place to stay! The home itself was gorgeous and cozy inside and out. The beds were very comfortable, and the fireplace kept us warm on the chilly mornings. The outdoor shower was a fun feature too! It stormed during our last night with some 50+ mph winds and the house shifted and some trees did bang on the roof. Contacted the host and they were very quick to respond and explain that everything was normal and safe, putting us at ease. Overall a very pleasant time!
Adorable place, easy to find, 20 minutes about from Acadia National Park.
We like to cook, so was limited because there was not an oven to use. There was like a countertop toaster type oven, but no pans to put in it . Assumed there was a washer and dryer there and there was not. Had some fun features, like sauna, outdoor shower fireplace, which made it cozier. Did not realize it was by some type of lumberyard which made it noisy during the day, but we were out at the park hiking so that really didn’t bother us too much. It was very quiet at night… This is a great place to stay for a night or two but longer than that would’ve been difficult.

We are a retired couple who dreamed of building a one of a kind treehouse. We are pleased to share that treehouse with you!
Why they chose this property
We love how this property is forested and private so you feel worlds away from it all but in actuality a town with all your needs is only 5 minutes away. Across the street from the property is access to the Downeast Sunrise Trail where you will find miles upon miles of hiking, mountain biking, ATVing and snowmobile trails on the old railroad bed. The Treehouse is also centrally located for exploring Acadia National Park or Bar Harbor as they are only about a 30 minute drive away. Our favorite Acadia spot is actually the lesser known Schoodic Point. Lastly, Momos Cheesecake is only about a mile from us and their cheesecake is the best we’ve had. We hope you love our treehouse and location as much as we do and have an amazing getaway among the trees!
What makes this property unique
While the fact that this is a Treehouse makes it unique, we wanted to elevate the experience by offering a luxurious stay. Enjoy amenities like a two-person jacuzzi, a two-person sauna, and a steam shower and during the summer months, don’t miss the chance to refresh in the outdoor shower. We also prioritize comfort, providing cozy, high-quality beds so you can truly relax. Just because you’re living out your childhood treehouse dreams doesn’t mean you have to rough it.
