This property has amazing views and scenery from the 300 square foot deck that surrounds the house on 3 sides which is a great place to catch the breezes in the afternoon. The home is located on the Chapin side of the lake at the mouth of Bear Creek. It is ideal for fishing, sailing and many other water sports. You would be in sight of Doolittle Island, (Bombing Range Island) where the famous purple martins’ birds fly each morning and evening from June to September each year. The dock is ideal for boaters and swimmers.
This is a comfortable home with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths on the main level and a basement/storeroom on a lower level. It has a fully equipped kitchen huge indoor stone fireplace made from white rocks gathered from the lake. The fireplace comes with firewood.
There is an extra freezer in the storeroom stocked with ice for your stay.
