About this property

Nature Glamping Near the Grand Canyon

Step into your private bell tent retreat and enjoy the perfect balance of rustic charm and modern comfort. Furnished with one queen bed and two twin beds, this tent is designed to host families or small groups in a relaxing, welcoming space.

Inside, you’ll find thoughtful touches that make your stay comfortable: soft linens, cozy rugs, seating, bedside lighting, and a cooling fan for warmer days. Every detail has been arranged to create an inviting atmosphere where you can unwind and feel at home.

Winter Shower Notice:
Please be aware that the on-site showers will be unavailable during the winter months of December–February/March, reopening the shower is weather dependent on the late Winter/early Spring months due to freezing temperatures in the Arizona desert. A clean and well-maintained shared restroom will still be available for guest use.

Getting Here:
Our property is just 30 minutes from the South Rim entrance of Grand Canyon National Park.
- By Car: From I-40, take State Road 64 North toward the Grand Canyon. At mile marker 219, turn right on Woodland Ranch Rd. Drive 3 miles, then turn left on Horizon Star Rd. After 1/4 mile, turn left into our driveway.

- Road Conditions: Our property sits on 30 acres of peaceful, off-grid desert landscape, which means the final stretch to reach us includes unpaved ranch roads. These roads are typical for rural Northern Arizona, mostly packed dirt and gravel with some naturally uneven sections.
To ensure a smooth arrival:
Any standard vehicle can reach the property in normal weather. Guests arrive in sedans, compact cars, and SUVs every week. You do not need a 4x4.
Drive slowly and take your time on the last 3–4 miles. The road is bumpy in spots due to the natural terrain, but going around 10 mph makes it very manageable.
Weather note: After heavy rain or winter storms, the road may be softer in some areas.
Most guests describe the drive as “part of the adventure” and love how the remote setting adds to the experience once they arrive.

- On Arrival: Continue along the gravel road another 1/4 mile until you reach two shipping containers. Park in the designated area, where your camp host will greet you and escort you to your dome.

- Parking: Free parking is provided onsite.

Magical spot!

We had such a wonderful stay at Branch Out Clamping. Couldn't recommend it more highly. It's a magical spot and Don is very kind and attentive.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay. The tent was really comfortable and clean. The heater provided plenty of heat on a chilly evening. The best part was making smores at the fire pit and looking at all of the stars in the dark sky. Very quiet and secluded.
