Escape to a marvelous 7-bedroom house in Glenwood Springs. With 2 king beds and 5 queen beds, this tranquil retreat offers a peaceful getaway for guests. Enjoy a spa-like experience with the primary bathrooms 9 shower heads, high end finishes and a huge walk-in closet. For your convenience there are and additional 2 full bathrooms and one powder room. Gorgeous mountain views from every window in the house. Full kitchen and large pantry. There's a fenced side yard and doggy door for your four-legged friends. Entry closet is stocked with board games.
Sitting on an acre lot you'll love the private mountain feel, with the convenience of being 10 minutes away from town. Sunlight ski resort is also a 10 minute drive. We'll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place.

I started our experience by having to ask the host for arrival instructions. The house seemed clean on the inside. The garage has clutter, so don't expect to use it. The linens were nice and the towels were plush. But we did see a mouse in the second floor bathroom and they ate through a bag of food that was stored in the kitchen pantry for one night. There were smoke alarms in couple bedrooms missing batteries, the compartments were open. The yard has not been cared for in a while. There are dead trees, grown over flower beds, debris and trash around the house. The fire pit did work. The location is good to access Glenwood Springs and Sunlight ski area. Plenty of room for 12 people. There were no check out instructions that I could find, so we took out the trash to the can on the curb and locked the door. The house is for sale if you want to check out the listing, lol.

On 6/8 Jen asked for check-in instructions for her check-in on 6/11. I have a screenshots, but no option to attach here. The fire alarms are hardwired, but backup batteries have been installed. There is plenty of room for a car in the garage with the “clutter” (shovels, rake, extra folding chairs, folding tables, extra propane tank for the fire pit, etc) that is all lined up against the wall. Neither our cleaning ladies or the local pest company found any evidence of a mouse in the house. As far as the yard - we are in a drought this summer and are not allowed to water excessively, which is reflected throughout the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time at this home. We take a vacation with our children and grandchildren every year. This home worked perfectly. The house was lovely and so was the location.
