RIVER COTTAGE: WINCHELSEA, SURFCOAST VICTORIA

A Quaint 2 Bedroom Cedar Miners Cottage set on a large organic garden block, pet friendly and equipped with all your needs. The property is only 30min drive to many of the Surfcoast regions most popular beaches and tourist destinations. Winchelsea is located half way between Geelong and Colac, enroute to Lorne (30 min)(via Deans Marsh), and the 12 Apostles and Port Campbell (1.5hr Drive). Other popular tourist destinations close by are Torquay and Bells Beach (30min), Anglesea (30min), Aireys Inlet (35-40min), Bambra (15 min), Birregurra (20min), The Bellarine Peninsular (45min-1hr), The Otways, Forrest, Stevensons falls and Mountain Biking tracks (40min), and Warrnambool (2hr). There are several wineries, and Berry picking farms close by along with many other tourist destinations in the region.

The Cottage is perfect for family groups, and it is possible to pitch your own tent in the garden or pull up in your Caravan with off street parking provided. The Garden is great for children with a trampoline to keep them occupied, and a short walk away is the beautiful Barwon river, playground, local municipal swimming pool and skate park. the property is pet friendly although we ask that animals not be allowed inside the cottage. They are welcome to sleep on the verandah and if you leave the property to go site seeing but want to leave your four legged friends behind in a safe and secure location, there is a special area / day yard for them to be secured in.

What a little gem! The cottage is clean and well equipped, huge garden to wonder around. 30mins drive to most the great ocean road attractions. Great value for this location!

Great little cottage

Great little cottage for a short getaway or a long term stay. We we moving house and need somewhere to stay in between. Had everything we need and we’re able to bring our cat.

As described and owner made late arrival process very easy. Had a dog and was perfect if you have one. Charming and clean, well equipped with even a dryer and with a nice garden and good parking(again dog friendly). Town has everything you would need. Lovely cottage

Home for two weeks

It was great having a place with a bit if space, privacy, and a well.equipped kitchen while.workinh in the area for a couple of weeks. The river is a nice place for a walk in the evening too.

Fantastic, restful stay

Haddie’s property is extraordinary value for money. The backyard is huge and lovely. Our kids spent ours on the trampoline. It is short walk to everything in Winchelsea. The house itself is really cute and cozy. Beds are super comfortable. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful time in Winchelsea

Haidee’s place is so quaint and cosy and clean! It felt like coming home - away from home. We had everything we needed and Haidee went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and catered for, despite there being fewer actual beds than we anticipated. But that was no error of Haidee’s and she made sure there were plenty of sleeping options when we got there - just perfect for us. Also, the garden is an absolute wonderland for kids!
