We absolutely loved staying at this cabin for our anniverary! It was so peaceful and quiet. The decor was lovely, the view of the lake is so pretty. We are planning to return with our family in the future! This would be great place to bring kayaks and/or a side by side to explore the area. Equally as good, would be to bring a good book and a friend to enjoy the swing lakeside and a conversation around a campfire.

This place and hosts did not disappoint. Ease of check-in, cleanliness of the rooms and property, quality of the dishware and appliances was a very pleasant surprise. The location was perfect as our base location allowing for day trips to Drummond Island, Soo Locks, Narnia Trail, Mackinac City and Island, Tahquamenon Falls, and many other interesting places. The host supplied brochures of many other local places to visit. The location on the northern end of Caribou Lake allowed for excellent sunset viewings off from the covered porch, or even better from the end of the dock in the lake. The lake bed is sandy, nice for wading. We will definitely recommend to friends and family.
