Beautiful property, unacceptable host and management. The home itself is beautiful and spacious, ideal for a large family on paper. Our stay started poorly and never recovered.Check-in codes and instructions were never sent prior to arrival. The host was unreachable, resulting in a nearly 2-hour delayed check-in.The home is inadequately equipped for a 7-bedroom that claims to sleep 24. Only one towel per bed was provided — no pool towels and no washer/dryer on site.On day one, it was immediately clear a restroom was clogged and had never been repaired before our arrival. The host offered barely an apology and said maintenance would contact us. We received no call or update that day. The next day we were told the same thing. We received no update for the entire weekend. This left the second floor — 4 bedrooms, 8 queen beds for up to 16 guests — with ONE working toilet. The master was occupied by my elderly parents and had to remain off-limits.Even after voicing our frustration about this major inconvenience, the host was dismissive, simply thanking us for bringing it to his attention and saying it would be fixed moving forward. When I requested a 1pm late checkout on the last night, he was quick to deny it. Only after I listed every failure did he reluctantly give us one extra hour.Beautiful property, but the host is dismissive and unaccountable. I cannot recommend.
