Great home! Walk to slopes. Kitchen had everything we needed. Snowed a foot and driveway plowed almost immediately afterward. We got a little turned around finding place, but Amanda got us back on track.
Great location and great house. We had an issue with the dryer while we were there and Darren had it fixed within a couple of hours. Highly recommend this property!!
Thank you for sharing your home with us. We had an excellent stay. Property was great and easy for check in and check out. Loved having parking and owners have thoughtful additions like sleds we were able to use. Would stay here again
Found property to be exactly as advertised / described.Comfortable… we had everything we needed and was very close to run that took us to lifts at Peak 8…skied down street to the run… came home other end of street and skied to driveway! Absolutely worked for us!

My stay at this home was very nice. In the first part of my stay, there were 5 people, and the home was very spacious. By the 12th of August, there were just 2 of us. So, obviously there was more room than we really needed.
I wasnt able to rate my stay with the stars, for some reason I wasnt able to get the stars to go as high as I wanted. I don't know why. I tried a number of times. As you can see, I could only get 3 stars, even tho I hit 5 in some cases. As far as check in and out, it was very easy
The location was perfect. Close to busses and gondola. Very quiet area. All in all it was a wonderful stay.
This unit photographs nicely and for the most part it looks just like the pictures. Mostly clean at eye level…but lots of cobwebs and a little dusty. Plenty of sleeping and common space for our family of 9. Washer and dryer great for wet ski stuff.
Master king bed is unsleepable. Head lays downhill, no support and it needs to be replaced. We tried sleeping with books under the legs at the head, with our head at the foot and then thankfully, there were two twin mattresses downstairs that we brought up and laid on the king box spring. Not great but manageable.
Location was great! 3-4 minute walk down the road to access the 4 o’clock run. Lots of snow so we were able to ski the road home.
Replace the king bed in the master and we would stay again.
We rented this home for our family, 6 teens and adults, for a 3-day New Years ski vacation in Jan 2025. This home had all we needed for our stay, so earns our top marks. The best part was it had plenty of space for all of us and great ski access; we figured out how to ski in (from Trevyes peak 8 trail) and ski out (to Four Oclock trail to Snowflake). We learned the hard way only one direction for ski-in and ski-out.It was very scenic on the mountain with the snow. It's gets dry indoor with the electric heaters going, so we used the humidifiers they had supplied. kitchen well setup with plenty of plates, utensils, etc. Nice living room and they had firewood, split for the fireplace. They had plenty of towels as well. We didn't have to use the washer/dryer but it was there if we needed it. it's a home, not a hotel, but the many little amenities made the stay easier on us. Bottom-line: This ended up close to perfect for us and helped make it a great ski vacation. The steep driveway looks intimidating when it has several inches of snow on it, but they had the driveway snow removed and our 4wd truck handled it just fine. our F-150 fit in the garage but with just inches to spare.

Well situated and suited
This house was ample for our family of five. We did not need the 4th bedroom which was accessed thru the MBR. We enjoyed the proximity to the slopes, skiing down the street to the Snowflake lift, while the boarders preferred to walk to Trygves Run, which was the return route to the house, as clearly described in our arrival information. Without these instructions, we would have easily lost our way back to the house, or mistakenly ended up in town. The kitchen was well stocked with pantry essentials and plenty plates and pots/pans. We ate all of our meals at the house after a single trip to the City Market (for which a loyalty card was on the carabiner with the house key). An abundance of firewood was stacked in the garage. The house was ready at our early arrival, clean and comfortable. Eric shoveled the walks and roof and offered to pull the cars up the driveway if we needed. We shoveled out 10+" of new snow from the driveway the morning of our departure, just before the plow came to finish the job. I could only suggest a digital lock to better accommodate access to the house.

Great Location, Not Great Property Management
We were very excited to stay at this location given its proximity (walk to, ski back) of Breckenridge Mountain. When we first arrived, it was clear that the description of the unit should state 4x4 vehicle is REQUIRED and not recommended as the steepness of the driveway and just a small amount of snow made it very difficult for us to get one of our vehicles that was rear wheel drive out of the driveway. Snow removal at the unit was sub-par as I had to request multiple times to the property manager to have the driveway cleared and the initial response of "we have regularly scheduled maintenance" was not acceptable as the driveway amassed 8+ inches of snow and required one additional request to the manager for the driveway to finally be cleared on Thursday (4 days after arrival/initial requiest). In addition to driveway issues, upon arrival we were informed that the upstairs bathroom shower was leaking and that we were not to use it. So 6 people were forced to share 1 shower...It was not horrible, but would have been better to inform us of this before we arrive instead of learning it from a note on the fridge when we arrive. Other than those pains, our group of 6 had plenty of beds and large common areas for us to have a good time and not feel on top of one another.

Good news and bad news
First of all, the house was neat and clean and orderly when we arrived. There was a mix up on how to get into the house. It was supposed to be unlocked, but was locked and no one could help us. On our own, we finally found a hidden key outside. Although it has not been updated, the house was in reasonably good shape. It was reasonably priced compared to other condos and homes in the area. It is a ski in, ski out house, if there is enough snow on the road. There are plenty of beds for a large group like ours and the kitchen was even stocked with groceries left behind by other renters. (Really do need more than 7 forks) It is also nice that we had a 2 car garage to park in.
If you don't have a four wheel drive vehicle, do not rent this house because of the steep driveway down to the house. We had two front wheel drive vehicles and had trouble getting up the icy street in front of the house. The driveway was the real challenge. It was steep and covered in a thick layer of ice. They had a snow removal service but we still had to shovel and chip out the ice in two ruts to get down the driveway and into the garage. Getting out was another matter entirely. The snow plow service "cleared" the driveway of a recent 9" snow but still left the thick layer of ice. We had snow socks (like chains) for our front wheel drive vehicles, and, with significant effort were able to get both vehicles up the steep driveway. Even the man (Darren) who lives in the separate basement was not able to get out of the driveway without our help.
Inside the house, the sheets on the beds were badly pilled, scratchy and uncomfortable. New sheets are badly needed.
All of the toilets were not sufficiently anchored down and rocked back and forth when you sat down. The house has 2.5 bathrooms, but you are warned not to use the shower upstairs because it leaks.
You definitely need to bring extra toilet paper and paper towels. With a family of six adults and three kids, we quickly ran through their supply. (one extra roll of toilet paper and no extra paper towels; we were staying for six nights). They should provide extra toilet paper in each bathroom as well as extra paper towels in the kitchen.
During our stay, water began to leak from the ceiling in the kitchen. Darren was able to remove snow from the roof to stop the leak. However, we almost had water damage to a laptop and a cell phone that were near the leak. For the price we paid, we shouldn't have had these issues..
Terrific location with short walk to the runs! This was perfect for our group of kids and adults and made it so easy to start and end the day as well as swing by for lunch. Check in was a easy as it gets and communication was superb. Well stocked kitchen with everything you could need.
The furnishings and some of the facilities are a bit dated and that led to a couple of minor issues. We had a bunk bed break (it was promptly fixed!) and had a water leak downstairs from an upstairs shower. One of our guests found one of the upstairs beds too soft to comfortably sleep. All in all a great value though and we had a fantastic stay.
Took my children/grandchildren for Spring Break and had Wonderful time! The house had everything we needed and Darren went overboard to help us with whatever we needed!!
We had a great trip to Breck and the location of this house is very nice. Communication was great and very friendly. The layout of this house didnt exactly suit our group so doublecheck that before you book. You have to walk through one bedroom to access another. The house itself is cozy, very well stocked and the hosts are very thoughtful with what they have available. We really enjoyed our stay and if we have a smaller party would definitely book again.
The 2 things I am not happy with are as follows: it's a little bit of a hike to the nearest shuttle stop (gold camp) especially if you have snowboard/ski gear. That being said, if you time your day right, you can ride from the runs on to the street down to the house. Also, we were told there was access to washer/dryer during our stay. We arrived and were left with "the people staying before you broke it" and didn't receive any compensation or means of fixing the issue. Being that we had a party of 8, we fully intended on getting atleast one or 2 loads of laundry done and not having to pay extra for such.
Both those things aside, the stay was great,.

FABULOUS LOCATION
We stayed Dec 20th-24th and had an absolutely lovely time. The house was fantastic - great for the large family that we had all staying together. It snowed our first day there, so for the rest of the trip we were able to put our skis on at the end of the driveway and ski down to the lift, then ski all the way back to the driveway again.

Beautiful house in beautiful location!!
We absolutely loved this house. It had plenty of room for everyone in the common spaces as well as the nice-sized bedrooms. The area is breathtaking and it was so nice to be able to walk to the slopes or take a 2 minute drive to the shops. This was our first trip to Breckenridge and the entire trip was excellent. Thank you so much!!
