Mid-Century Mountain Escape is a premium accommodation nestled on Beech Mountain in North Carolina. At 4800ft elevation, this 600 ft2 condo accommodates up to 4 guests and offers a refined mid-century modern style and incredible views.
After a 3-year renovation, every inch of this architect designed space maximizes your experience with convenience, amenities and views – and is only a short 5 minute walk along a quiet gravel dead-end street to the base of Beech Mountain. Winter attractions include skiing, tubing, village center with fire pits and a brewery. Summer attractions include downhill mountain biking, hiking, or taking the lift to 5605’ bar for entertainment and incredible views.
The condo consists of 5 spaces in an open-plan layout:
Kitchen / Dining – Everything you need for cooking a great meal or playing a board game at the table. Includes a fully stocked kitchen including Keurig coffee bar, dining table, 4 chairs, bench and pegs for hanging your mountain outerwear, and a dedicated workspace.
Lounge – The adjacent lounge features a couch (opens to queen tempurpedic bed) and 2 perfectly placed chairs that allow you to take in the long range mountain views through the floor to ceiling sliding doors. The 55” Samsung Frame Smart TV and owner-provided NetFlix account will provide hours of entertainment when relaxing after a day out in the mountains or opting for a chill day indoors. A small book and game library will provide a perfect way to spend quiet time indoors. The gas vintage Preway metal fireplace will warm you up in style on cold winter days.
Deck – A 125 ft2 deck offers long range views out to the mountain and offers a bistro height dining table with 2 chairs and another custom designed eating space with stunning 30 mile views towards the Tennessee mountains. This space is perfect for morning coffee to feel the suns rays as you watch the sun come up over the mountains or for a beverage in the afternoon as the valley lights up during the long golden hour of twilight.
Bedroom - The bedroom features a queen size Dreamcloud® bed from which you can easily watch the most incredible sunrises. The space offers a second dedicated workspace looking out to the mountains, perfect for longer stays or when the real world needs you! Bedside shelves are perfectly positioned to store your books and charge your electronics. The bedroom provides easy access to the in-unit washer and dryer behind floor to ceiling mirrored doors.
Bathroom – The bathroom offers a steam shower area that delivers a 120 degree steam spa with option to add eucalyptus essence for a fully rejuvenating experience. The teak bench is perfect for easing your muscles after a day of skiing or summer hiking. The shower feels premium, with subway tile on the walls, penny tiles on the floor and a 12” rain shower head and shower wand to complete your in-home spa day. LED mood lighting finishes off your spa time.
