This beautiful house was immaculate and the most well equipped of any we have previously stayed in. Nothing was overlooked, including a pet bed and towel for our dog. The mountain views are magnificent. Communication with James, both before and during our stay, was greatly appreciated as he responded to our questions and concerns immediately and was most helpful. All members of our multi-generational family had a wonderful time and highly recommended this property.

House was lovely -- beds were comfortable, loved the extra-long dining room table for family games, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The host was very communicative and accommodating.

This home was beautiful with beautiful views. It had everything we needed and more. There was supplies for babies such as pack n play, high chair and even some games and toys. The kitchen was FULLY stocked so we could cook dinner some nights. And the backyard set up was a dream for toasting marshmallows and enjoying the Mountain View’s. The host answered all my questions before and during our stay and was very quick to respond. Thank you so much!

We had an amazing stay! Communication with the host was excellent from start to finish, super responsive and helpful. The house itself was beautiful, very cozy, and spacious. We stayed with 4 families and everyone was comfortable; it never felt tight or crowded at all. Everything was extremely clean, fresh, and easy to accommodate our group. Everything was well thought out and made our stay easy and relaxing. If I could give more than 10 stars, I absolutely would!

As someone that owned their own small business, I know how important it is to be honest when writing a review. This old house has so much character! That being said - please note the "old". The day we arrived was hot. The upstairs AC was not working. After a full day of driving - we had to open the windows (some of which we could not get open) and turned on all the fans (at least the ones that had pull chains) to get it cool enough to try to sleep. The host responded quickly but no one was available to come out that night. So began a week long struggle with the AC unit. When we left, they were still trying to figure it out. The dishwasher was a disaster - the top rack meant for silverware only came out 1/3 of the way making it impossible to use. The bottom rack did not run on the track properly so we had to be careful pulling it out and putting it back. Not an easy task when full of heavy dishes. Time for a new dishwasher. We were so excited to have a double oven - unfortunately the temp was off. Items in the back burnt while the front were still not cooked. The top oven's bottom was cracked and you could see the burner underneath so we stopped using it.Many of the window blinds were broken or inoperable. Lots of loose rugs - tripping hazard.Toilet seat in master bathroom was not fastened properly.Last but not least - ANTS!! Mostly in the dining room.Someone needs to go thru this house and make it worth the amount being charged.

This is a beautiful home which has been very thoughtfully setup to host a good size group. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful and we all enjoyed our stay. Two things I would point out for future guests.1. Please update the description to include that this home is unique in that it has two driveways instead of one. We pulled into the garage driveway and had no idea we were in what was considered the ‘back’ of the house. The ground was covered in ice covered snow. We went to the only door accessible from there and punched in the code and it did not work. Finally, after texting with a resolution, the host called us back and only then we discovered what was considered the ‘front’ door on the other side of the house! Please update the description to point this out and either change the code on the back door to match the front door code or remove the code from the back door. We spent the first hour of our visit trying to figure out how to get in!2. The beds are extremely firm, which would be fine, but they were also very lumpy. I believe it may be the mattress toppers used. None of us minded a firm bed, but we all agreed after the first night of sleep that the beds were uncomfortable and made it difficult to get a good nights sleep. Removing the toppers would probably solve the problem.I still give the rental 5 stars as the host and the house were both very nice. This is just a couple suggestions for the future.
