Wonderful home, didn’t disappoint! Having such a fully stocked kitchen was amazing. Location was perfect for downtown walking access. Parking situation definitely favors smaller vehicles. Would stay here again.

Thank you, Stephanie! We are happy to hear about your stay with us and appreciate the kind review! You are welcome back anytime!
The house was really nicely decorated and cozy. Even our teens commented on how comfortable it was. The hosts were responsive with a couple of minor issues that we had and all was resolved within minutes. Great location near the mall. Parking is a bit of a constraint but we made it work with two vehicles. If you have more vehicles you will need to park further away which is a 10-15 minute walk and a 2-3 minute drive.

Thank you for your kind review! We appreciate it, Tess! You are welcome back anytime!
We were a group of six former work colleagues who go on annual ski trip to SLC. Ryan and Daniel's place was ideal for us. Many short term rentals feel like living in IKEA: a nice, clean asthetic but cheap., Not this place. It is immaculately clean yet it feels like a home you would want to live in. The kitchen is very well stocked and opens on to the dining room so is an easy place to hang out, eat, and have a drink. The living room is big and open with lots of places to sit so also got well used. The best thing about the home is it's location. It's great to be able to walk to and back from dinner (HSL, Aker). Happy to recommend.

Thank you for the very kind review, Elliot! We are thrilled to hear your stay with us was a great one! You are welcome back anytime!
The hosts were great. Communication was A. They had a nice handwritten note left for us and a sweet treat in the fridge. The TV is really nice... and beds comfy. They also didn't cheap out on the toilet paper; a small thing that says a lot!

We had a wonderful stay! The owners were incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. The house was very clean, well-stocked, and spacious - it was perfect for our family Thanksgiving holiday getaway. The location couldn’t be better, and the area was quieter than we expected. The neighbors were also very nice and welcoming. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

The five bedroom three bathroom home is perfect for large family or friend gatherings. The kitchen is well equipped, and the location makes it easy to shop for groceries or bring in food.
Great property with easy access to downtown. We were there for a volleyball tournament and this was close to the convention center but allowed us to have a home base to rest afterwords instead of staying in a hotel. Highly recommend this property if you are visiting SLC.
We had a fantastic experience with this Vrbo rental! The house was exactly as pictured, which was a relief and had all the basic essentials. The host was incredibly responsive, addressing any questions or concerns promptly. Plus, the location was perfect - convenient to downtown, making exploring the city a breeze. I would highly recommend this rental to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay.
A reunion trip with friends and this property was amazing. Very very spacious. Lots of room and bedrooms are nice. Common areas are great and has good amenities like Sonos speakers and ping pong table. Location is perfect. Super clean. Will absolutely stay here again if in SLC.
Only thing keeping me from putting 5 stars are that master bedroom shower didn’t really have hot water, no shampoo etc in the bathrooms (not a big deal but 5* would be fully stocked), and fridge door doesn’t shut completely every time.
We had an incredible stay at Snow Mansion. The house was beaufitul and the location could not be better. We felt like celebrities. People love to walk the hill and look at the architecture of the homes. The house itself was perfectly set up for our group. The kids room had enough room for six between the two bunk beds and the attached third floor bedroom. It made for a great space that allowed them have their own wing of the house. The ping pong room received a lot of attention and the kitchen was a perfect hang out spot for the entire group. We will stay at this property again and again. Stuart was a perfect host!
The home is great for large groups and close to the capital. We had convenient access to all ski resorts, ~45 min drive. The home is in great condition. The only downside side is the parking. The garage truly holds only 2 small vehicles. A mid size pickup truck just fits lengthwise. Our additional full size pickup didn’t fit and there is no street parking. The host and caretaker were very flexible allowing us to park the larger vehicle in the outdoor patio area.
A group of 10 of us stayed at this house for a six day ski trip and it was nothing short of perfect. The house was immaculate, not a speck of dust anywhere. It’s a large house, so it didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. It also seemed to be pretty soundproof and with people going to bed at different times, it was good that you couldn’t hear much going on downstairs, and even room-to-room felt a little soundproof, which was great. The two garage spots for parking on the property worked out so well with getting up early and needing to pack the car right there and get out to the mountains. The host was super responsive over messaging for our entire stay, which we really appreciated as different questions came up. The hot tub was a big hit with our group in needing to soak a bit after all the days of skiing. I can’t say enough good things about our trip here at this property! Would definitely stay here again for another ski trip in the future.
I think I started writing this review the moment I walked in the door. The property and history is stunning and welcoming with amazing modern updates. The kitchen was my favorite. I want to model my HOME kitchen after it. I like the thoughtful touches they make it feel like home, like putting lotion next to the hand soap at the kitchen sink. The Snow Mansion had everything we needed that we didn’t know we needed: Spices in the kitchen, cooking utensils, champagne, flutes, a forgotten toothbrush to name a few.
When we requested more towels and toilet paper from the property manager, it was handled quickly.
We were in town for our wedding, which was stressful and chaotic and amazing all the same time. Staying at the Snow Mansion. Made life more relaxing. Our favorite was spending the evenings on the front porch, watching the traffic and people walk by. Plus, downtown and restaurants were easily accessible. We chose to walk down the hill and Uber back up.
PROS:
1) Snow Mansion is beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and the beds/furnishings are super comfy. House has amazing character and interesting history.
2) We stayed for Gen Conference and were able to just walk and avoid car traffic. Lots of places to eat/shop all within walking distance.
3) Paper towels, TP, garbage bags, dish soap, laundry soap, hand soap provided. (No bath soaps, shampoo, etc).
4) Plenty of space to spread out. Game room with ping/pong, old school Nintendo, a few board games.
5) New spa, corn hole, and outdoor fire pit (shared with basement tenant though).
6) Cheyene was awesome to comunicate with and accomodated an early check-in (ty Cheyene!).
CONS: (not really cons, but nice to know/consider when planning)
1) Nothing mentioned in the listing about a tenant living in the basement (he helps with maintenence I think. Nice young man). There was no entrance from inside the house, but still nice to know since your floor is their ceiling and you have to share the yard, driveway, and parking with them.
2) Tight parking. You get 2 spots in the garage. Thats it. No parking in driveway as it is shared with neigbors. No parking on street. Have to go up the road and around the corner for additional parking.
3) Street noise from being downtown. Not terrible, but did wake us up occasionally.
4) No ice cube trays/ice maker (i gotta have my ice!) :)
OVERALL: Had a great stay and will book again when in town and reccommend to friends.
