Historic home w/lots of charm and personality! Had all the essentials and very close drives to Universal, Hollywood strip, groceries, restaurants, etc. Perfect fit for our family of four!

We enjoyed staying here and it was perfect for a weekend getaway with the family. The hosts communicated by phone about some things he already took notice of at the property which was helpful and appreciated. The checkout instructions were clear and helpful, it didn’t leave any room to guess.I would definitely stay here again.

There was a problem with ants every day. The owner said that it was the first time, but we found ant spray in many locations so someone had sprayed for ants. The air freshener smell was overwhelming. Other minor issues: no ice cube trays, second room needs air conditioning, fridge door does not close easily, overhead kitchen lights is out, no stopper for the tub, so kids can not take bath, bottom of tub is slippery with no non slip strips or hand rail. TV is not secured for earth quake or children, living room chairs are wobbly and seem unsafe for large personsIt was nice to have the push car and balls for the kids. The opening to the front gate by the lemon tree needs a string to allow opening from the inside. Kitchen metal door does not allow for exit.

Charming house, very clean. Unfortunately the toilet valve was broking and we had to reach into the toilet tank every time to stop the water from running.

Hi Jonathan, Glad you loved the house! Regarding the toilet it was working properly prior to check-in. The only issue was the water running longer than normal after flushing, which was just a minor adjustment that was scheduled to be fixed after stay. During the stay, the toilet was clearly tampered with while trying to attempt to fix it, which caused the malfunction. A plumber confirmed this and the toilet is now repaired and working normally.
