The home was clean, neat and fully stocked with all that was needed for the week's stay. A short 4 minute drive to All Star Village; Colleen was a great host and very helpful.
This property was perfect for our stay during our son's time at Cooperstown All Star Village. The house was very close, clean and cozy. We couldn't have picked a better place to stay!

Thank you Samantha! So glad you enjoyed your stay!
Wonderful little cottage! There were deer that grazed just a few feet from the windows and screened porch. Very clean and all the amenities. Colleen was so helpful! I was here for my grandson’s tournament at ASV. The park was 5 mins away!
This was our second year going to Cooperstown All-Star Village. This place was perfect for our family of 3. Colleen was easy to communicate with, and the place was stocked with everything we needed. To top it off, it was just 5 minutes away from the CASV.
My husband and I stayed in this lovely cottage for a week while our son was at Cooperstown All-Star Village. This was the perfect location! The area is beautiful, the cottage is cozy, the restaurants are excellent! The kitchen is also stocked with everything you need to cook at the cottage. Enjoy having a cup of coffee and reading on the back porch. You may even spot a deer, hummingbird, or sweet little chipmunk!
We enjoyed staying at the Rose Cottage while our son played at All Star Village. The house was extremely clean and quiet. It was very close to the grounds. We would definitely recommend.

Close to Cooperstown All Star Village (5 mins) this little gem is beautiful and well kept. The owner is very responsive and our trip was pain free! Well, except for losing in the round of 16 at the tournament!
We were in Oneonta for our son to play at Cooperstown All Star Village. The house was very close to the fields. It’s a super cute and cozy cottage nestled in the woods. It was the perfect place to relax between and after games. We loved it!
Lovely little cabin. Coleen was a superb host. Clean, well stocked, and back to nature. Best of all, it is only a 5 minute drive to the Cooperstown All Star Village. After watching our grandson play baseball all day, it was so nice to be back at the cabin in no time. Thanks to Coleen for an awesome week!

Thanks Jason! So glad you enjoyed your stay! You guys were wonderful guests!
The property was quiet and clean, providing a nice experience for our stay. Everything we needed was there and there were no issues during our stay. If there is one area for improvement it would be having a better television/cable ready experience. But this was accurately portrayed by the renter in the listing

Hi Paul,
Thanks for letting me know about the secondary TV in the bedroom. I will immediately add a signal extender and a new TV to correct the issues.
What can I say? This property was as advertised. If CLEANLINESS is what you are looking for. This property is better a five star hotel ;) There are NO dust to be found in this cottage. The host was amazing. She went way beyond her accommodations duties. I would stay here again if my son can still play baseball at Cooperstown but unfortunately he will 13 next year. 5 minutes from Cooperstown was amazing.
Colleens place was very cozy and comfortable! She has everything you need! My husband and I stayed a week for baseball. All star Village is very close 4-5 min drive. Close to main street, walmart, restaurants. We also seen a few deer in her garden. Colleen is great host! Thank you!

This home is beautiful! The host, Coleen is kind and attentive. My family stayed there during our trip to Cooperstown for the baseball tournament. The home is between 4 and 5 minutes from the baseball fields in the All Star Village. The home is located at the end of a road which is covered by a canopy of trees. It is quiet and very peaceful. I highly recommend this home and would definitely stay there again.

Thanks Bob and Cindy! So glad you enjoyed your stay! Come back anytime!
The cabin is beautiful and clean and stocked with everything you would need. The host was excellent and accommodating. My only complaint is there is only air conditioning in the 2 bedrooms, not the main part of the house, so the living room get pretty hot even with the windows open in the evenings and the overhead fan on. Also, the AC in the main bedroom doesn’t work great, so we were just a bit hot and uncomfortable during the evening and overnight. If the AC situation were fixed this would for sure be a 5 star cabin. Great distance to the all star village, where our son was playing.

Hi Rose,
I wish you had told me about the broken air conditioner sooner so I could have replaced it during your stay. The current renters let us know and I returned it and got a fully functioning air conditioner which keeps the rest of the house cool as well as the bedroom.
This place was incredible. We could not have found a better place at a better price. We were in Oneonta, NY for All Star Village baseball. This is one mile or less from the village. Is secluded and quiet. Feels like a cabin in nature. We saw two baby fawns sleeping when we pulled up. The place is extremely clean. Owner is very responsive. The AC in one room broke and she did not know it was broken. She fixed it that day. Colleen is a great host. This is much better than staying in the ASV housing. We saved money and had a full house. Great place, will stay again next time. Thank you so much Colleen.

The house and host Colleen were great. It was a very clean house and it had all the amenities that you have in your own home. My wife and I used it for our son's week in the All Star Village. It was very convenient to get back and forth from the village. I recommend it over staying in the viillage or at a hotel.
Our stay was exactly what we hoped it would be. Quiet and serene.
Lovely location tucked into a wooded area, but just a block away from a neighborhood and minutes away from town. The home is cozy, clean, and quaint. Colleen was a fantastic host. She was informative, easily accessible, and very helpful.

About the host
Hosted by Colleen Blacklock
I love to travel and to stay home and garden. My mother taught me a lot about plants and gardening. She still knows every botanical name and so much about each plant and how they grow. She also taught me the value of home and creating a beautiful sanctuary to live in and share with others. She was a health practitioner and now I am too and I believe that our environment can be something that nurtures and inspires us. We want to share our love of beauty and nature with you.
Why they chose this property
This is my mother's beautiful home. She purchased it so she could live part of the year near me and my children as they were growing up. Her passion has always been gardening and she has put in an extensive botanical garden with many special specimens of both horticultural and medicinal value. Now we have decided to share this house and the garden with others so they may enjoy the property as much as we have.
What makes this property unique
We hope that you will enjoy this peaceful and beautiful environment and the natural beauty of the gardens and the comfort of the lovely house will help you feel rejuvenated and happy.
