Idyllic location in a wonderful area close to Hyde Park. Nice home with comfortable beds. We had a very pleasant weekend stay and will hopefully be able to return when we are in the area next!
What a lovely guesthouse! Extremely well kept and stocked. Communications with the owners and managers was clear and prompt, and everyone was very inviting. Great space for a family getaway! Would definitely return.

Idyllic Retreat
From the abundant Hydrangeas along the front steps to the flora and fauna from the back deck, this was a total winner. We baked a birthday cake, made breakfasts and relaxed inside and out. In the heart of Apple orchard country and nearby landmarks along the Hudson, this was an ideal location and accommodation. This was in no small part because of the on-site hosts who we never saw but were glad to recommend restaurants and picking options. AAA+++

We had a great experience! The house was perfect for our stay.
Two girlfriends and I came up to attend the NY Sheep & Wool festival in Rhinebeck. The location was perfect. Close enough to get places easily but remote enough that it was quiet and peaceful. We look forward to staying again in the future.
! Beds very very comfortable. Only minor issue was intermittent low water pressure in shower. We did not lack for anything. Relaxing rejuvenating experience. We would love to come back again with more family members.
We stayed here while in the area for a family reunion, and it was perfect. The house is very clean and the setting is gorgeous. My sons loved seeing the horses and my husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck drinking coffee in the mornings. I would recommend this house!
All the luxury you can possibly want and yet surrounded by the most beautiful rolling pastures. I can recommend this exceptional home to anyone and all!
The property location was so close to everything we had planned for our Hyde Park is it. Rebecca was a marvelous host and the property was everything we expected.
We stayed from Monday through Sunday and loved the property. Absolute privacy in a rustic setting. Horse fence with horses visiting across the descent yard space from the house. Being in the house was like being at Grandmas- rustic horse themed spacious home. Super comfortable beds. Clean with everything you could need to cook, store, do laundry. A comfortable small kitchen with appliances in working order. A/C worked great as it was hot and humid outside. We loved our stay!!
This was the perfect quiet getaway from the city. The property is gorgeous and home is lovely, clean, and as pictured. Rebecca welcomed us wine, cheese and crackers, which was such a lovely surprise. Looking forward to returning in the future.
Even though the pictures and description of the property are accurate, you really can't believe how serene and beautiful it is each time the guest house comes into view. Lots of space for everything, and plenty of room to relax. We enjoyed feeling like we were out in the country, while being no more than 20 minutes from most things we wanted to do (Vassar, wine-tasting, breweries, hikes).
The property was exactly as advertised. Very quiet, peaceful, beautiful location. Nice ammenities were provided by the owners.
We went to the NYS Sheep and Wool festival. The location was ideal to reach the Duchess county fairgrounds for the event in 20 minutes and no bridge to cross so no bridge traffic delays. We and our lab loved walking the grounds.
We would definitely stay here again.
Lovely property with fields and horses nearby
The house is older and we had some trouble getting interior doors to shut properly and I wish there had been railing for steps into the front door for my elderly Mom but otherwise it was just wonderful. Owner was very communicative and the wine and cheese were very much appreciated after a long and arduous journey.
