About this property
Woodland Park Lakeview Log Cabin + Hot Tub & Sauna
Summary:
Wake up to whispering pines and glassy lake views from our cozy log cabin in tranquil Westcreek Lakes. Unwind in the hot tub or cedar sauna after a day of hiking in the Pikes Peak region or mountain biking at nearby Buffalo Creek, then gather by the wood‑burning stove under vaulted ceilings. Fast Starlink Wi‑Fi keeps work and streaming easy, and two decks make for amazing sunsets and stargazing. NOTE: the private community lake is NOT open for guest use - stunning views only.

Set on 1.28 acres, the cabin features 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a den with sofa bed, and 1,870 sqft of living space across two levels.

Tech & Misc
Starlink Wi-Fi (300+ Mbps), Roku TVs, Nest thermostat, sound bar, box fans, humidifier, and board games.
Guest Access:
• Parking: Attached 2-car garage + spacious driveway
• Entry: Lockbox at front door. Enter through the garage-side door.
• Access: Guests may use the entire home, both decks, hot tub, and sauna.
• NO ACCESS: guests do not have access to use or fish the lake. There is also a private small garage and one locked storage closet.
The Neighborhood:
Located in the peaceful Westcreek Lakes community, surrounded by pines and mountain ridges. The lake is private and not open for swimming or fishing, but it sets a gorgeous backdrop for your stay.
Nearby adventures include miles of ATV trails, hiking, and biking, plus mountain biking at Buffalo Creek, Manitou Lake, Rainbow Falls, and Deckers (amazing for fly fishing). Woodland Park is about 20 minutes away for groceries, dining, and shopping.
Getting Around:
A vehicle is necessary—public transit isn’t available here. The roads are well maintained but can be slick in snow or ice; AWD/4WD is strongly encouraged in winter. Roads are dirt after leaving Highway 67.
Other Things to Note:
• Please note we have exterior facing security cameras (one faces the driveway and another the back of the property excluding any private areas like the hot tub and sauna).
• Cell / Phone service is virtually non-existent from the cabin. Please plan accordingly. We rely on the Wifi for communication and/or satellite sms service with an iPhone while at the cabin.
• We get four distinct mountain seasons — snowy winters with crisp days in the 30s, cool nights, and plenty of sunshine; mild, green springs in the 40s–60s; warm, dry summers in the 70s with cool evenings perfect for fires or stargazing; and colorful autumns in the 50s–60s with chilly nights and golden aspens lighting up the hills.
• The cabin does NOT have AC. On our warmest summer days, opening windows and running fans will cool the cabin off quickly. Evenings are typically nice and cool.
• Sleep in peace on super soft linens which were laundered in a professional facility to ensure the highest possible amount of viruses and bacteria are utterly destroyed.
• This is bear country. Please do not leave any food outdoors or in your car. The garbage bin is located in front of the shed. Please make sure you put trash in the bear proof bin, and that recyclables are free of food and drink.
• We reserve the right to collect ID directly from our guests before allowing access to the property. This is in addition to identification you may be asked to provide to the booking platform.
• Our team sets out linens appropriate to the number of people on your reservation so please make sure your reservation accurately reflects the number in your party.
• Check in is at 5pm and check out time is by 10am. We do our best to accommodate early check in and/or late check out requests. We offer these based upon our housekeeping team's approval as their schedule can be demanding and for an additional fee of $25 per request if we are able to accomodate it. Please note, the earliest check in time available is 2pm and the latest checkout time we can accommodate is noon.
Interaction with Guests:
Guests enjoy self check-in and full privacy, with local support available via message or phone for assistance, recommendations, or maintenance needs.
