Nuthatch Cabin: A cozy, peaceful cabin bordering Zion National Park
Either for a peaceful retreat in quiet solitude or as a jumping off point for climbing, canyoneering, biking, hiking and exploring, this is where your adventure begins. This cozy cabin directly bordering the park, has 2 trailheads nearby with one within walking distance. Observation Point, Cable Mountain and Deer Trap trails access the beautiful East Rim of Zion wilderness and contain the best views of Zion Canyon. Centrally located just 30 minutes from Zion NP’s East entrance, with Bryce National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Escalante/Grand Staircase National Monument within a half days drive, makes this a perfect base camp for exploring the surrounding beauty. Take a leisurely stroll around the property on the self-guided nature trail with information about the common native plants and wildlife viewing from a bench overlooking the Zion NP Park property. Our 2 nights here while visiting Zion was made even better by our time at Nuthatch! The place was immaculately clean, had all the amenities one could want or need, and the turkeys whenever we came home made our boys happy each time! You can see the care made to the place by Lynn. Very easy to communicate and we appreciated everything about our time here. Thank you!

The cabin was very cozy and clean and nice. It was very well stocked with like shower, full-size and the kitchen. There was nothing missing. Definitely would come back if we ever visit Zion Park.
This smallish cabin on 1 acre of land that borders Zion NP is really well done and put together overall. The owner is an artist and naturalist - art is on display in the classy, well done cabin and there is a nature path through the property with a guidebook that links to stops along the way that are identified by rocks with numbers on them. There is an RO system so you can get pure drinking & cooking water there, the kitchen is good as is the bedding and overall comfort. There are at least 5 seating areas outside (really) including one being the deck which has a gas grill on it.This is a super quiet, secluded, really well done cabin. It's in a part of the world with little light pollution. Super relaxing. The cabin is near two hiking trailheads that go into Zion NP, including one trailhead that's just 0.5 miles away. We did the Cable Mountain hike from the cabin - it's absolutely incredible, it ends looking down into the valley 1200' below, a sheer cliff down actually, and looking right at the big bend of the river and right at Angel's Landing. Incredible. The hike is 9.5 miles from the cabin (8.5 miles from the trailhead) and is relatively easy overall. The internet worked well - I had some meetings and Zoom worked. There's a TV with a Roku set-up - you'll just need to sign into your apps - or bring your own TV stick to use.Highly recommended!
