About this property

Updated Home, Steps To White Sand Beaches Of IRB - BTR#1687

Our home is a labor of love! We fully updated the entire property, the most recent renovation occurring in 2018, with quality finishes and modern stainless steel appliances. Brand-new, beautiful floors throughout the home including cozy carpet in the bedrooms. Our home has a very easy, open floor plan to include the fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and relaxing living room which is perfect for family vacations. The master bedroom, which has a full bath attached, includes a queen bed. The tranquil guest room also has a queen bed and a shared full bathroom with a tub is directly across from the bedroom. The 3rd bedroom is equipped with a home office setup and also has fold down double futon. The carport area, which is attached to the open concept dining/kitchen/living area, has been converted into a covered relaxing outdoor space with two hammock chairs and a full outdoor dining set where meals are thoroughly enjoyed. A deck connects to carport and wraps around home to the backyard where you will find a large deck area equipped with patio furniture and umbrella. The fully fenced in yard contains a large grass area (perfect for our furry friends) as well and a hammock for relaxing with a book. Although it's easy to stay put and enjoy the house, just steps from the house you will find the beautiful beach of Indian Rocks Beach. Hardly ever crowded, take as much or as little space as you need. Our home is stocked with all that you will need to enjoy the beach including beach chairs, beach towels and blanket, rafts, bocce ball, snorkeling sets, a cooler, beach cart, and beach toys. Just around the corner within walking distance, you will find local bars, restaurants and shopping. Also within walking distance is ice cream and local convenience store that carries everything you need. A surf shop and bike shop are just 2 blocks away for your outdoor rental needs.

Beautiful Home, Wonderful Stay

We were at this property for 3 weeks in June! It is beautiful and the location to the gulf was excellent! The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed walking in the mornings and evenings. The house had everything that we needed and Jason was absolutely awesome to work with!!

I can’t imagine another property living up to the standards this one has set. The neighborhood is so quaint, the walk to the beach is so easy, and the home is so spacious and stocked with so many convenient amenities - they’ve really thought of everything! The owners are so responsive and friendly. I hope to find that this home is available for our stay every summer.

Fantastic home near the beach and stores/restaurants.

We had a great stay. The home is furnished with everything you’ll need including beach chairs, towels and toys. Perfect for our family and dogs. Only a couple blocks away from the beach. We took advantage of the location, walking to restaurants and taking the trolley to John’s Pass and Clearwater. We had a minor issue with the garbage disposal malfunctioning but the owner took care of it within 24 hrs. Great place! Thank you!

Weeklong Family Vacation

Everything was exactly as pictured. This was our first time using VRBO. Nothing was less than I expected. There were no disappointments. The community was very laid back, the beach was beautiful and uncrowded. It was a very short walk from the home to the beach. Home was well stocked with all the basics. I have no complaints! We had a terrific stay.

Fantastic stay in IRB!

This home was the perfect fit for us. The location is such that I could leave the "remote office" and be on the beach within 5 mins. Daily walks through the neighborhood were also very enjoyable. The fenced yard was ideal for our dogs who spent time roaming the back yard and then lounging under the converted carport. Jason and Jill have thought of nearly everything including a full complement of beach equipment, a RO water filtration system, and furniture which was extremely comfortable. Overall, we could not have envisioned a better place to stay for a month. We surely hope to return soon.

Great Stay in Indian Rocks

We had a great stay at Jason's house in Indian Rocks Beach. House is exactly has pictured. Communication with Jason great. It is a quick, half block walk to the beach and within walking distance to many restaurants. Going in the opposite direction, the house is located in a beautiful neighborhood. Kitchen was well stocked. The only thing missing was a large fry/saute pan with an accompanying cover. Fashioned a cover out of foil which worked just fine. We really enjoyed sitting out on the covered patio playing games and relaxing. Thank you for a great stay!

Cozy paradise

The home was nicely decorated and as advertised. Pillows & bedding were of nice quality, that matters. So close to beach, very easy quick walk. Plenty of beach towels, toys and chairs. House was well equipped as well. The host was very prompt to reply with all questions answered. Very nice to deal with, that also matters. We definitely plan on returning!! Since you must leave the fridge empty upon departure, I called locally and found a lady that picks up all your food, perishable, non perishable and freezer items. I found this to be useful rather than wasteful. You will totaled enjoy this home :)

Beautiful location!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here at IRB! The ocean was beautiful and just a short walk. Clearwater beach and st.johns pass we’re both within 20 minutes with lots of shopping and restaurants available. We will definitely be coming back here! The house was clean and exactly as described and the owner was very easy to contact with prompt response

We had a great stay! The house was close to the beach and had everything you need for a great beach vacation. There are quite a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as bike rentals. The home was nicely decorated and very clean. Owners were very responsive.

Home away from home

We have stayed here multiple times and it feels like our home away from home. The house is always well equipped and clean. We love the outdoor dining area and the fenced yard for the dogs. The location is perfect, very quiet and walkable neighborhood and only a very short walk to a great beach

Jason and Jill moved to IRB from the Washington, DC area in 2006 to escape to the sunshine and beaches of Florida. They found a beach fixer-upper and put a lot of work and heart into their home. The entire property was fully renovated and built for entertaining, as they love to have guests out at the beach. Jill is from Annapolis, MD and graduated from Virginia Tech. Jason grew up in Northern Virginia and graduated from University of Maryland. Avid travelers, they love to visit new places around the world and become as much of a part of the locals as possible. They currently reside in Wilmington, NC.

Why they chose this property

We bought this home because we absolutely love the town of Indian Rocks Beach. You can't beat the beautiful beaches and small town feel. But Tampa is just down the road and has everything you need from a big city; NFL, NHL, MLB, amusement parks, water parks, zoo, concerts, shows, etc. The property itself is super close to the beach ( just across the street), located on a beautiful and quite street, with a huge fenced in yard. The carport was converted to a tropical hang out area, completely with hanging hammock chairs, where it's easy to spend most of your time.

What makes this property unique

Our home is fully updated and very comfortable. It was built and designed to host family and friends at the beach. It has an open floor plan that lends perfectly to a vacation at the beach.
