We enjoyed our stay here. We had a little trouble with the code to get in but eventually got it. This was the perfect place for our family to stay while visiting Oceanside.

Good communication and easy check-in! Older home, clean with updated bathrooms, and well stocked with everything you need and plenty of dishes! Great location.

Beautiful house. This is our third stay. Things have changed a bit. Nice upgrades to bathrooms. However no more grill. Also bring coffee and extra toilet paper.

The location was great. The only downside was the ants a little dusty. There was a lot of ants and flies. It would’ve nice to have a grill outside. Other than that, it was very spacious my family and I had an amazing time making memories catching up and enjoying our long weekend.

The view from the house was amazing. The kitchen was well stocked. The circular stairs were unexpected but maybe we missed them when we reviewed the pictures. The sauna was a nice treat. It would have been nice to have wood and kindling for the wood stove.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this home with our two sons, their families, and our dogs. We especially appreciated that pets were allowed, as that can be hard to find and made the trip so much easier for our whole family.The location truly can’t be beat — being able to walk down to the beach was a huge highlight. We also loved the beautiful view and the fun, quirky character of the house. The kids were especially excited about the spiral staircase! The kitchen was very well stocked, which made cooking meals together easy and enjoyable.A couple small things to note: the dehumidifier in the basement was quite loud, the garage door was a little difficult to open and close, and parking was a bit challenging. But overall, these were minor compared to all the positives.We really enjoyed our stay and made great family memories here!

The sauna should not be advertised as a feature. It was an electrical and bio- hazard. I wouldn’t recommend anyone use it. The home was not entirely as photos indicated. When you enter the home, it’s some kind of unfinished mudroom that smelled heavily of mold, the kitchen on the 2nd floor had beautifully upgraded marble countertops and backsplash. However, they were accompanied by sticky cabinets with one of them falling off the hinge. The top floor rooms were fairly well finished and the bathrooms were nicely finished, but it felt like we were staying in somebody’s work-in-progress.It was not clean, we ended up washing some of the bedding before use, luckily they did have a full-size washer and dryer available for that.My family rents a beach house a few times a year and this was the worst home comparably for the price, and it did not meet expectations.I feel that we paid a bougie price for a janky rental.It does however, seem that they are making upgrades so its condition might be temporary.

We enjoyed our stay. Had problems with code sent, would not work. Had to work through all three lock boxes to get in. Cobwebs in the corners of the windows and sills were dusty. Problem with little black ants one day on the counter. French doors out to deck lean into each other which makes it difficult to open, close and lock. The garage remote will open the garage door, but will not close it. Kitchen appliances very clean. Great walking distance to beach.

The property was welcoming to the pet that we brought with us, the house was clean when we arrived, but we did have issues with ants in the kitchen, dining area, and upstairs bedroom and bathroom. The location had ant spray on hand, but we couldn’t leave any food on the counters or table - everything had to be in sealed containers or put in the fridge. The house had beautiful views, and some cool features like the spiral staircase. The dog was unable to go up and down the stairs, but they did give the house a unique feel. Checking in was a little unnerving as we didn’t get the code until we were about an hour away - I think this was due to me requesting an alternate ID confirmation (via email) than the third party process that is the usual route most people go through, and we had limited internet connection on the drive there. Overall, we had a nice time, but for the price we paid, I would have appreciated not having to deal with so many ants around the house.

This property has a wonderful view and enough beds to accommodate our family group. The property is located up the hill on a narrow street with one parking space close by to unload the car and we were happy to see the three-car enclosed garage for parking in the back on the lower street. The layout is different with multiple levels and an awkward spiral staircase that made it difficult to carry luggage up and down. The property seemed to need some love as there were maintenance issues when we checked in that were reported to the property manager. Hopefully they were addressed for the next visitors.
