This place is amazing, right on the beach and a short walk to town if you don't want to drive. Kids enjoyed the hot tub. We love being able to bring our pups on vacation and this place made that possible. Clean place, plenty of towels and cooking necessities.

Our stay at the house was so very nice.One thing to know is that this unit is a part of a duplex. We had neighbors on the other side of the wall. They really didn't bother us but we could hear them. I didn't notice this was a duplex until we arrived, Lesson learned...review all the photos before I book.It was a nice stay and gorgeous view of the ocean, we could see the Arches from the window. Nice hot tub, Nicely setup, the living area furniture could have been more comfortable. The property could use some updates and the beach has taken a toll on some of the house. The horizontal blinds for the sliding doors access to the deck need replacing one was not operational and the other was a head banger. Vertical blinds would be much better, We had plenty of towels and the kitchen worked for all of our needs. I would stay here again. But would probably try to rent both halves of the duplex.

We had a very bad experience the last night of our reservation. The fire alarm by the two downstairs bedrooms began beeping loudly. We changed the 9v battery and unplugged the alarm from the wiring harness. We tried muffling it, but nothing worked.I spent three hours (6:00-9:00 pm) trying to make contact with the host to resolve the issue and this accomplished nothing. The alarm beeped every 45 seconds all night long!!! I am currently seeking a refund for the night. Unless this is satisfactorily resolved I will never work with this company again.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! The location is top-tier, with beautiful ocean views, convenient parking, and very comfortable beds. The positives definitely outweigh the opportunities below.I would make the listing clearer that ocean access requires navigating a rock staircase rather than walking directly out onto the beach. We changed properties expecting easier ocean access, which was challenging for one guest with mobility limitations. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, and for guests with good mobility, the location is fantastic.Cleanliness could use a little more attention. There was what appeared to be food splattered on artwork in the entryway and some stains on the baseboards. Nothing that impacted our stay, but noticeable.The biggest opportunity was the living room furniture. Due to rainy weather, we spent more time inside, and the furniture wasn’t very comfortable. The pullout couch was extremely firm, and the window daybed was like sitting on the floor. The daybed has incredible potential given the view—adding a thicker cushion would make it the perfect spot for coffee and relaxing.The TV also seemed dated, and getting it connected was a hassle. We needed assistance and couldn’t get Netflix working, which was a bummer on a rainy night.Overall, though, we had a great stay and would absolutely consider returning. The location and views are hard to beat!

View and close proximity to the beach was great, but small things add up to create a distraction to how great the location is.Hot tub not hot the first night (water must have been changed but we were not informed about the possibility of not getting to use the hot tub for half of our stay).Pans still dirty when my wife went to cook the first night. Full chunks of food cleaned out of dishes before use. Ants found all over the island of the kitchen. Other than that we had a good time.

The home was very clean. Had all the amenities we needed for a great weekend. The hot tub is a nice added feature to look out early in the morning and late evenings for beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

Overall, we had a great stay and really enjoyed this property. The location is hard to beat—the views are beautiful, the beach access is incredible, and we loved spending time on the back deck. The bedrooms were a good size, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.There are a few maintenance items that weren’t mentioned in the listing or previous reviews that future guests, especially those with young children, may want to be aware of. The bunk room has a large open hole in the ceiling that appears to be from previous water damage or a removed light fixture, and the hot tub did not have a lock or other safety measure despite references to hot tub security. Those were the two things that gave us the most pause while traveling with small kids.The home could also benefit from some general upkeep. We noticed sticky window seals that made windows difficult to open, doorknobs that tended to stick, closet doors coming off their tracks, and some missing kitchen trim. Upon arrival, we also found a loaf of bread left in one of the cupboards, along with a few other small items that appeared to have been missed during cleaning.One other thing to note is that the main living area has a small, firm couch, so seating can feel limited if you’re traveling with more than four people.Overall, this home has so much potential. The location alone makes it a wonderful place to stay, and with a little additional maintenance and attention to detail, it would be ideal!

Perfect beach getaway for families

This was a perfect getaway on the coast for our family and grandparents. Great location, loved the view from the dining room and balcony and really appreciated having a bathroom for each bedroom. I would definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous location

We had the best time at this beautiful beachfront property. Loved waking up and watching the waves roll in. The rooms were so comfortable and the kitchen had absolutely everything you could need.

Such a cute house with the best view. Not much to do in Rockaway beach but the house is worth driving the extra miles to Cannon Beach or Seaside for the day. Will stay here again.

Excellent location.

Best pet friendly beach access ever. Comfortable for about 5 or 6 plus dogs. Not perfect, you definitely pay for that beach access, but we'll probably be back.

Family getaway

Nice place. Two bedrooms down stairs each with a door outside. Main living area and third bedroom up stairs. One thing didn't see from other reviews I might have missed it is that there is rock steps down to the beach this made is easy to take the kids down.

Perfect location on the beach

Overall a great stay with perfect view and location. There isn’t a great area for lounging on the couch As the living room is very small. but that’s about it for faults. It’s a we’ll stocked kitchen, great view, easy beach access and dog friendly.
