Nice spot on Smith Mountain Lake. House was nice and comfortable. However, the lake was down nine feet from full pool so we were unable to use the dock for our boat. We could not access the lower floating dock and had to launch each day at the state park about 6 miles away, which was disappointing. If you want to use dock, check the pool level of the lake to see if it is accessible. Also, disappointed in the BBQ grill as it was rusty and unusable which was annoying. Should be replaced. Otherwise house was great. There is ample parking for a vehicle and boat trailer, but it is somewhat tight to turn around at the house and requires backing up into the woods. Be aware that the second bathroom is on the lower level and not accessible from inside the house. You have to go outside and around to the back to enter the game room and second bathroom. Also have to provide your own linens, towels and sheets for beds. Rea

Great Weekend Getaway.

The property was great and family friendly. We enjoyed our stay and its proximity to Mitchell's Point Marina, which allowed us to rent a boat for the day with ease.

Graduation at Liberty

This was a great place to stay for our family. The owner had everything set up nicely and was very responsive in communication leading up to and throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful place which a spectacular view on the lake. Would definitely recommend staying here and we will certainly do so again!!

Another wonderful stay

Another great stay at “Lake living at its finest!” This sweet little cottage was perfect for our end of summer SML visit. Our favorite spot (next to the awesome wide lake view from dock) was the cozy screen porch-from morning coffee, lunch, to wine-time and dinner- this was our go-to indoor space. Can’t wait to return.

Great place to share with family and friends

The house had all we needed to have a great time, the kids spent a lot of time on paddle boards and we had a wonderful stay enjoying the lake, watching movies, board games, the fire pit and the grill. The host was friendly and always responsive. Would recommend for sure!

Wonderful trip!!

We had such a fantastic time staying here. The house was exactly as we’d hoped with a beautiful screened in porch and comfy beds. We loved the dock and swimming in the lake. It’s very convenient to the marina and the local store. The house was perfect for our trip and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
