Anchor Cove D2 is a single story property perched at the beachfront on the beautifully landscaped grounds of Hale Pau Hana Resort. Originally the resort restaurant, the building was reconstructed as a side by side duplex. Its prime location, large size, and proximity to the ocean and air conditioning in every room makes this one of the most unique and sought after properties on Maui.
Luxurious ground floor accommodation, just steps from the beach, that includes 1390 sq.ft. of living space, 2 spacious bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, well equipped gourmet kitchen, comfortable living/dining room, private laundry, 4 zone AC, flat screen cable TV, free WiFi, free long distance telephone calls to USA & Canada, private lanai & outdoor furniture, common heated ocean side pool, common gas BBQ's, free parking.

Set apart to the front northside of the resort, it's peaceful and private. The large, west facing lanai offers unobstructed views of Molokini Crater, the islands of Lanai and Kahoolawe, the west Maui mountains, Kamaole II Beach and of course the ever engaging Pacific Ocean - whales and turtles, paddle boarders and outrigger canoeists. Early risers wake to the pastel hues of dawn on the oceanscape, and, as 'pupu' time arrives Maui's incredible sunsets are on full display.

Walk out the patio door and you're steps away from beautiful Kamaole Beach II. The hard sand near the waters edge is great for walking, running, playing games, or just frolicking in the water. Go boarding or snorkel with the turtles in the reefs. And, because there's limited nearby public parking & access, its not crowded! For some fitness, stroll or run the wonderful beach/trail system which extends all the way to Makena.
It's so peaceful, and with nothing but beach and ocean in front of you, its easy to forget about the many shops, stores, restaurants and pubs which are conveniently located just a short walk away - past the office, across the parking area and onto South Kihei road. Try sticky buns and coffee at the Cinnamon Roll Place across the street!!

Oceanfront condo with great views

Spacious, well-equipped condo located right on the beach and steps from the ocean with your own private lanai, lends to amazing days to sunbathe/swim or enjoy the evenings watching the sun set. The owner is great to work with and is very responsive to emails.

Fabulous family stay!

The condo was wonderful for a family of four - two adults, a 7 year old and a four year old. The beach and pool were easily accessible. We could see turtles swimming as we watched from the lawn area - so exciting! The kids loved playing on the beach! Great location - near restaurants and grocery stores. We can't wait to return! A special thank you to Karen, the owner, for all of her help. Truly a fabulous stay!

Doesn't get any better!

Anchor Cove is as oceanfront as a Maui condo can get. While located at a mid-size condo property, this unit feels private. It's plenty spacious for two couples - fully equipped, comfortable, and with a view that can not be beat. Already trying to plan a return!

Perfect family condo on the beach

Well, we had an absolutely fabulous time at this gorgeous little condo right on the beach. It’s perfect for small children because you can see everything from the back porch. You can see the kids playing on the beach from the back lanai. The pool nearby is great and safe with a gate. We just loved our stay and were so comfortable. Karen was communicative and flexible and very kind. We will be coming back!

Great home and amazing view!

Karen’s home was amazing! We were there for almost a week and it was the perfect home. Not only were we close to different food spots, we were literally on the beach. This home is perfect to relax and enjoy the beautiful views. Karen was so great. She made sure to check in on us and was always prompt in responding. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful home and who wants to have a relaxing vacation.

Loved anchor cove

If you are planning to stay in Kihei this is the place! Our family of four loved everything about this special place. The views can’t be beat….this property is oceanfront to the most beautiful beach. We enjoyed sitting on the lanai each morning drinking coffee and watching the sunrise, and didn’t miss a sunset! We loved being able to just walk across the street for anything we needed. Take out from coconuts was our favorite as well as the cinnamon roll place and açaí bowls at the shaved ice place! Karen was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Don’t hesitate to book this property it won’t disappoint!

Vacation of a Lifetime

We can't say enough about the beautiful Anchor Cove condo. There is no place we would rather stay...on any of the islands. Not only could we see the ocean from out the back window, but the mirror on the living room wall allowed us a view of the entire beach. And not only any beach...this beach is absolutely stunning and uncrowded. The kitchen is well appointed and made cooking at "home" a breeze. The location alone is worth every cent...add to that comfortable furniture, every beach toy you could want, and the most beautiful lanai and lawn to relax to relax and enjoy the sunset. Thank you Karen and Lloyd for your excellent customer service which made everything so easy and uncomplicated. Hope to be back next year.

Hale Pau Hana Paradise

This property is fantastic. We had a 10 day vacation stay with no problems. This property is steps from the beach and pool. Very spacious private patio where you can watch the sunset and have supper . The property is very clean and spacious, it is great for families. It is fully equipped with all amenities. It has everything you need including beach toys, snorkeling gear, towels etc all you need to bring is your bathing suit and sunscreen. The property also has its own very large washer and dryer. The grounds and bbq area are meticulously kept clean and well maintained. Various great golf courses are very close along with shopping and good restaurants . This property is truly worry free living at its best. We would highly recommend this property and we will be looking forward to going back . .

A slice of Heaven

My husband and I have been visiting Maui for over 20 years consistently. This was our first visit to Kihei and we were blown away with this town. We usually stay at a resort on either side of the Island (we love being served a cocktail at a fancy pool just as much as the next). We knew we wanted to stay at minimum 2 weeks and wanted to just chill and do whatever we wanted to without the hustle and bustle of a resort. WE FOUND UR PARADISE! The acommodations were everything we had hoped for... the unit had everything we could ask for as far a kitchen supplies, linens etc. Walking out to our beach steps away was magnificent. Many great restaurants within walking distance of anything you needed... including a little grocery store across the street. Amazing sunsets from our Lanai every single night. Karen was very easy to communicate with and was able to help us with anything we needed.Hoping to return sooner than later.

Great location!

The location right on the beach is awesome. Snorkling is as good right outside the condo as it is almost anywhere off Maui. We saw half a dozen turtles. Beach was busy, but not ridiculous. The condo was set up very nicely and had everything you could want in the kitchen and toys for play.

Family Vacation

We feel so fortunate to have found Anchor Cove. The condo was even better than the pictures and VRBO description. The sandy beach was amazing and we saw several turtles, including two that swam right past our feet! The condo was very clean and well stocked with everything we could need including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkel gear. Karen was very easy to communicate with and responded to us quickly with every question we had. Kihei is a fun, laid-back town with lots of great places to eat. I would highly recommend Anchor Cove and we will definitely be back.

Great stay on Maui

I cannot say enough about our week here. Traveled with 3 teenage boys and the trip was great. Condition of the house, bedroom layout, furniture, etc were even better than the pictures. More than anything the location of the property is as good as any place I have ever been in Maui with a patio and grass overlooking the beach. Karen was easy to work with, and was genuinely concerned that we had a good time. We will be back for sure, an easy 5 star! Thank you Karen.
