Major issues with the hot water in the Casita. Did not work. The water heater was unplugged. And every time you watered to take a shower you had to go outside around the back of the casita and push the button to turn the water heater on. It’s a tankless water heater. And no one explained that to us and it was not in the manual. Thank god I have experience with tankless water heaters.

The house is nice, but if you have other options I would look elsewhere. I’ve never experienced such poor communication with a host, which doesn’t even make sense as they’re a large company not an individual. There’s also a 20 minute long zoom “orientation” they force you to do which is the definition of “this could have been an email.” When I did manage to get someone to message back, they were both unhelpful and extremely restrictive. If this is the only house left then it will do in a pinch but go with your other option if you can.
