Welcome to Point of View at Eagle Bay, a stunning retreat in a brand-new, gated community nestled along the shores of Watauga Lake in Butler, Tennessee. Guests of Eagle Bay enjoy shared access to the community dock, making it easy to spend your days boating, kayaking, or simply taking in the peaceful lake setting. Adding to the appeal, Villa Nove Vineyards and the Watauga Lake Mercantile are each less than 10 minutes away, offering convenient options for wine tasting, small shopping, and local flavor. With beautiful views, thoughtful design, and exceptional outdoor living spaces, this home truly lives up to its name.
The main level opens to a bright, open-concept living space designed for both relaxation and entertaining. The kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream, centered around a gorgeous granite island with seating for three and plenty of workspace for meal prep. Fully equipped with modern appliances, serving dishes, and small appliances, it has everything needed to host memorable meals. Just off the kitchen, the dining area features a table that seats eight, allowing everyone to gather and connect while enjoying the open flow of the home.
The living room is warm and inviting, anchored by a gas fireplace and filled with natural light. A leather sofa, two comfortable chairs, and a large flatscreen TV create the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the lake. Whether you are cooking, dining, or relaxing by the fire, the main living area offers an ideal balance of comfort and style. A half bath is located near the mudroom entrance.
Also on the main level is a luxurious king ensuite that serves as a private retreat. This serene space features an upgraded plush mattress, a private TV, and a spa-like ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower, deep soaking tub, and double marble vanity. A picture window frames the surrounding views, adding a peaceful finishing touch.
The lower level offers three additional bedrooms along with a cozy den and media space. The first king suite includes a TV and a private bathroom with a tiled shower. The second king ensuite features a beautifully designed bathroom with double vanities, tiled shower, and a private window that fills the space with natural light, and it also opens to the hallway for convenient access from the den and bunk room. The bunk room is perfect for younger guests, offering two sets of twin-over-twin beds and a Smart TV, located just steps from the wet bar and den area with a sofa and TV. A second half bath is on the lower level for guest use.
Outdoor living is a highlight at Point of View. The expanded main-level deck is accessed directly from the kitchen and living room and is designed for gathering and enjoying the scenery. It features dining space, comfortable seating, a gas grill, and two fire tables, creating multiple spots to relax and take in the sunsets. Wrapped around the side of the home is a covered section with an outdoor gas fireplace and TV, perfect for enjoying evenings outdoors in any season. On the lower level, the deck is home to a spacious hot tub, inviting you to unwind under the stars after a full day of lake adventures.
With lake access, nearby wineries and marinas, and thoughtfully designed spaces indoors and out, Point of View at Eagle Bay offers a peaceful escape where every moment is meant to be enjoyed to the fullest!
Additional Notes:
- All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two.
- This home is not pet friendly. Thank you for not bringing pets into this home.
- Towels and linens will be provided for you.
- Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be the person signing the agreement and must be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates.
- The home is located at an elevation of 2500'. The home will receive significantly less snow that homes at higher elevations. To access nearby Beech Mountain for skiing, all winter guests will need to bring AWD/4WD vehicles, and chains may also be necessary.
- Gravel ample parking for 4+ vehicles. 5 steps to entry.
- No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed at any time. Keep outside noise respectable.
- Home uses an outdoor ring camera at the front and side of the home to keep the home safe. No cameras face inside or near hot tub and gathering spaces.
- Eagle Bay is an up and coming community. Construction noises may be heard 7am-7pm Monday through Saturday.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Bookings canceled within 24 hours of their creation will receive a full refund of payments. Bookings canceled more than 24 hours after their creation are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee.
