About the host
Hosted by Georgia Leacox
I’m a true Space Coast native, raised where rocket launches light up the sky and the ocean is always calling. My dad was an engineer at Kennedy Space Center during the Space Shuttle Program, so I grew up watching launches from our backyard—an experience that never gets old and definitely shaped my love for this incredible place. When I wasn’t looking to the sky, I was in the water or on the trails—surfing, boating, water skiing, fishing, biking the amazing local paths, and soaking up the coastal lifestyle.
After heading to Kentucky for college, the Space Coast drew me home, where I began my career as a teacher working with children with disabilities. That path later took me to Orlando, where I served as both a teacher and an assistant principal. It was also in Orlando that I met my husband—now my partner of nearly two decades. Together, we have a beautiful 21-year-old stepdaughter and a 12-year-old son.
After my first career in education, I was honored to change paths and spend over a decade as a Sales Executive working with police departments and sheriff’s offices, supporting their public safety missions. Recently, our family made the move from Orlando back to the coast—this time to Cocoa Beach—so we could raise our son surrounded by the ocean, nature, and everything that makes this area so special.
Now retired from that chapter, I’m thrilled to take on my most fun endeavor yet as the owner and host of the Triple Turtle Beach House in Cape Canaveral. Sharing this beautiful slice of the Space Coast with guests is truly a joy, and I can’t wait for you to experience the place that has meant so much to me and my family.

Why they chose this property
Cape Canaveral and Cocoa Beach are so desirable because they offer something truly rare: a relaxed, coastal lifestyle paired with innovation, natural beauty, and year-round sunshine—all without the crowds and pretension of larger resort destinations.
Here, pristine beaches stretch for miles, uncrowded and walkable, perfect for sunrise strolls, surfing, or simply unwinding to the sound of the Atlantic. The area is bordered by the ocean on one side and the Banana River and Indian River Lagoon on the other, creating endless opportunities for boating, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, and unforgettable wildlife encounters—dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, and vibrant birdlife are part of everyday life.
What makes the Space Coast truly unique is its connection to space exploration. Watching rocket launches from the beach or your backyard never loses its magic and adds a sense of wonder you simply won’t find anywhere else. That legacy also brings a thoughtful balance of culture, science, and community pride that sets the region apart.
Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral blend small-town charm with upscale dining, boutique shopping, and easy access to world-class attractions. Orlando’s theme parks and international airport are just an hour away, while the Kennedy Space Center, Port Canaveral cruises, and nature preserves are right at your doorstep.
Perhaps most appealing is the pace of life—unhurried, welcoming, and authentically Floridian. It’s a place where luxury feels effortless, nature is always close, and every day offers both tranquility and adventure. That balance is what makes the Space Coast not just a destination, but a place people fall in love with—and return to again and again.
