Canadian Log Cabin - Steirer-Hof

Enjoy your holiday in an authentic Canadian log cabin built from natural logs over 100 years old, featuring a large infrared sauna and a luxury built-in kitchen.This 5-star holiday home features an infrared sauna, a wood-burning stove, underfloor heating, a leather corner sofa set, a 46-inch Smart TV, a Blu-ray player, and a soundbar.
The spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. It features a dishwasher, induction cooktop, microwave, DeLonghi fully automatic coffee maker, air fryer, toaster, egg cooker, and Thermomix.
The house has two spacious double bedrooms, a large sofa bed (1.60 x 2.0 m) on the loft, two bathrooms with showers, a washing machine, and a clothes dryer. A cot and high chair can be provided upon request.
The terrace and balcony face south. The outdoor area features sun loungers, patio furniture, a parasol, a Kettler ping-pong table, and a large Weber charcoal grill.
We offer free Wi-Fi with an unlimited data plan.
Additionally, the lighting is equipped with energy-saving LEDs.
Bed linens, hand towels, and bath towels are included as standard, as is firewood for the fireplace.

Surrounded by forests and meadows, not far from the beautiful Edersee. From here, you can set out directly on hikes in the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park.
We offer 4 log cabins in various sizes:

• The original Canadian log cabin features a spacious 140 square metres of living space and accommodates up to 6 people. It also includes an infrared sauna inside the cabin.
• The Raccoon Cabin has 100 square metres of living space and is suitable for up to 4 people. The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a separate guest bathroom.
• Our Fisherman’s Cabin was built to be accessible, is cosily furnished in a maritime style, and accommodates up to 3 people.
• Our hunting cabin features a well-designed living area of 36 square metres and can accommodate up to 2 people.
Please note that we do not rent the cottages to groups travelling together. The cottages have a maximum occupancy limit, which must not be exceeded.



Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and check-out is from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
