A thatched country house dating from 1790 with a park-like garden on a 5,500 m² lot in East Frisia’s second-oldest Fehn settlement, located in the Fehntjer Tief nature reserve. Originally a farmhouse, the house was thoroughly restored and modernised by us after numerous renovations; the thatched roof lends it a special charm.<br><br>The “De Tuun” apartment is one of two unique holiday rentals, furnished in a select blend of modern and antique country styles.<br><br>De Tuun (East Frisian for “the garden”) is a spacious and comfortably furnished ground-floor holiday rental in a subtle country house style, suitable for up to 4 people and a toddler. The spacious rooms offer a sweeping view of the garden, fields, and the nature reserve across the way. <br>The apartment features two bedrooms that can be darkened, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. You can spend your evenings relaxing in the bright, cosy living room, which features a TV, a small library, and games for those few days of bad weather. The large, fully equipped kitchen includes a dining area for 6 people.<br>The bathroom, with its walk-in shower and natural light, is a true oasis of relaxation. The terrace and garden invite you to unwind. A washing machine and dryer are, of course, available in the separately accessible utility room.<br>Off the beaten path, yet right in the heart of it all!
