Ojai is five miles north and Ventura and the beach is five the other direction. The house is quiet and secluded under 300 year old oaks for shade and old world charm. Bring the whole family for biking, or boating on Lake Casitas two mile west. Or golf in Ojai at the several open courses. Or just relax under the oaks. There's a five acre park across the street and many fine affordable restaurants two blocks away in the town of Oak View.

This host double booked us. When we arrived, the people staying there informed us it was occupied. We spent an hour and a half sitting in the street in the dark trying to find a place to stay and ended up at a hotel way down in Ventura. We checked in at about midnight, completely exhausted. The host was no help at all and took no accountability for the situation. On top of all that, this place is located on a very crowded street with houses on top of each other - you can’t tell from the listing.
