Family Home just 7 Miles From Glacier National Park

Our home includes 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, open kitchen / dining / living space. Fireplace and work area complete the main living space. Front Deck allows a sunny spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine. The fire pit is a great place to discuss memories of the day or create new memories together. A Propane grill will be available for your stay.

Towels, bedding, glassware, cookware, and kitchen utensils are stocked. Just pack your clothes, sunglasses, and camera.

If you plan to bring your outdoor recreation gear: bikes, kayaks, raft, etc, please ask about parking. Parking is limited.

Great location --- quiet and tucked in the woods off the highway. Perfect location for visiting Glacier National Park and the surrounding National Forest. House was clean and easily accommodated a family of four. Great backyard, too!

We enjoyed our stay and the house was well stocked. It was a short drive to Glacier NP and to the grocery store in Columbia Falls. The living area was very comfortable for our family of 4 adults. We spent most of our down time in the lovely outdoor spaces and were able to have a fire one afternoon.

Heather and Alex’s home was a beautiful and inviting place to stay for our family trip! It was close to a lot of what Glacier National Park has to offer. Their home was situated in the perfect area for going to great restaurants and breweries. The rustic charm of their house and property was definitely something my family enjoyed, and we got to have some deer visit us on the property. We will remember this place and definitely will be back for any future travels to Montana!

Wonderful home very close to the west entrance of Glacier National Park. The house was spacious with a well equipped kitchen and an amazing deck where I spent most of my time while my husband enjoyed the living room. The deer came to visit us in the evening which was a great way to end our busy day in the park. Our host Heather was informative and easy to contact. I would stay here again.

This cabin was a fantastic choice for my family while they were in town for my wedding. It was very clean, cozy, and spacious. Being so close to Glacier National Park, having plenty of parking and a fully equipped kitchen with an island was very convenient. Checkout was clear and easy but budget a few extra minutes to drop your trash off at the local dumpster 5 minutes down the road, as expected in bear country. We loved browsing through the guestbook during our stay too. Just FYI for light sleepers - a nearby train passes through occasionally, so the sound can be noticeable. Overall, it was worth every penny, and we would definitely return!!

Very nice house and super convenient location for entry to West Glacier. The only things to note were the train noise and the upstairs retains heat and doesn’t cool off as fast as the downstairs. But this is a great house and location is perfect.

So happy you enjoyed the house and location! Yes, the BNSF Railway is alive and well in the Northwest, transporting goods across several states. Amtrack also uses the railway to transport passengers between Chicago and Seattle ~ a fun way to travel. With the windows opened at night (to cool the house) you can hear the trains running a couple times after dark (even though the track is over a mile away.) If you are a light sleeper, a sound machine or having the fans on full speed will help. Thank you for being our guests, Heather & Alex

Recently stayed here toward the end of our visit to Glacier National Park. The location was great, far enough away from the park to get away from some of the business yet close enough to easily travel back and forth. The location was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. We appreciated the multiple bedrooms for the kids and the extra space to relax after a long day of hiking. Situated in a quiet neighborhood this suited us very well. Checking was easy and communication was great. Book with confidence and enjoy the beauty of Montana!
